Anyone here on the 360 want to play a "sim" style game? I actually played a guy last night that plays a real style hockey where we dump the puck during PK, etc. Ended up adding eachother and played a few more games due to this.

I was playing this other guy and it went to shootout and all he did was that stupid skating backwards cheap shot..so what I did was I kept doing the "Deke" move and kept scoring. He finally hit the post and I scored.. boyyyy was he pissed saying I WAS the one cheating...

So if anyone is up for "real" hockey type game, post your xbox id hehehe.

the thing with the new update that keeps getting me is my one timer accuracy.

i tend to play a puck possession passing in the zone style offence and ill have a perfect bang bang bang bang passing play to a guy standing 10 feet infront of the net and he will fire the one timer over the glass in the corner. haha

^i re-signed a contract and in the off season they traded away the entire team except for about 3 players. i havent played a game in the second season yet.

I was ranked around 600, then dropped back to like 700. A bunch of the top 100 guys are only there because they do these weird glitch goals.

Well, there's a glitch where if you get hit, you come back up instantly. One guy I played in back to back games kept doing this. Maybe I overexaggerated by saying glitch goals, but they exploit the goalies pretty bad. Like there's a trick to make the goal fall over everytime you shift from the corner boards to the front, and another on the opposite side depending on your handedness to make him shift from short to far side. Then you play the ones where all they do is spin around, wait for the goalie to fall over, and shoot. It can't think of all the exploits at the moment, but that's just a few. I've only played like one guy in the top 1000 that actually played a clean game with me, and that was two days ago.

Can you still tie up a player against the boards? and How do you accomplish a wrap around these days?

wrap around = press your left analog towards the net when your coming around from the back and before you reach the post
thats how i do it, and it works pretty well
