I'm a Defensive D-Man. I don't take many penalties, and I pass a lot. On an offensive zone faceoff win I do like to take the pointshot though.

does anyone miss the the faster frame rates in '08? Makes the game seem smoother/faster. damn!

I'm not too sure what you're talking about, the frame rates on this years is way better. Last years was choppy.

I'd like to know too. I searched google for "attributes guide/faq/description" and couldn't find any answers.

I'd also like to know what the Balance attribute does? Like specifically, does it help you stay standing if you're body checked? Or if you body check someone else does it help your recovery time?

No I'm dead serious. Anything is an upgrade for PS3 I suppose. On the 360 specifically, just feels slower and not as smooth vs. '08. Then again it might have been my 360 on its last legs as it RROD a couple of days after lol!

5 days ago (when i last played) that record put me in the top 600 players, but when I logged in today I got pushed back to top 1000.... wow. more people are getting this game and spending a heck a lot of time on it.

i havent spent alot of time online and vs. ALL my nhl is on BAP. only 6 season resigned with the flames, at 6.9 mil 6 year deal. Iginla retired and I was name EL CAPITAN! pretty good for a offensive D man =)

do any of you guys have problems playing with certain friends but the other friends still work. with one of my friends it goes to the screen where u pick teams but then it says session is no longer available. but i can still play my other friends.

I had the exact same issue. You and your friend should both go to the purple blade of the Xbox Dashboard. From there run the Network test, and see what the result is for NAT. For NHL09 to work properly with everyone, NAT should read as Open. If it says moderate or strict you are probably going to run into issues.

To make your NAT open you need to make sure your Xbox is in your router's DMZ, or on your router open the ports that the Xbox needs.
