i hate it when my guy does the stupid roll when they make contact. they take so long to get back up!!!!

nice update! This should prevent cheese players using cheese plays to score cheese goals, and less frustration for honest players that just want to play a decent hockey game.

Let's hope the changes actually work!

The Notorious MSG has no updates on his XBOX.

I've noticed that ps3 gets their updates quicker then xbox, for the 1st patch that came out, I got it and my friend on xbox didnt get his till a week later. WTF? :haha:

This update looks awesome, can't wait to get back into it.

they still happen frequently with the right players

but the stick lift fix really changes the game abit, gotta play a little dirty along the boards and such to setup a play, and it forced me to sit back a little bit in the neutral zone just to compensate!

fuck soooo many penalties now with the update

me and my friends probably played like 5 games tonight with 4 players playing 2 VS 2, and each game we had like 20+ minutes each lol

man i used to play this all the time till my xbox got the red rings of death. i miss it =(

As for playing online..anyone else notice about the EA servers as of late? It's been laggy that I couldn't stand playing haha.....but who am I kidding.. their server always sucked

ea's servers have always sucked. Thats why I've preferred playing friend who come over rather then playinh online. I only play online when I'm desperate to play :)

the penalties are ridiculous, kills the flow of the game -__-

acutally no.... it prevents people from taking dumb penalties so that the gameplay flows even better.

All those checking from behind/boarding/interference/tripping/slashing calls are welcomed because you will NEVER see a D-men cross-check a forward when chasing the puck down the ice to NOT get a penalty... which is what EVERYONE was doing online before this update.

I like the update and my scoring average has gone up, used to be around 2 to 3 goals a game and i'm now at around 4 to 5 ish because the other guy either a)keeps putting me on the powerplay by taking these dumb penalties or b) letting me go by without interfering and I just skate in and deke their goalie out. :haha:

Some reason, since after the last update, my games have been really laggy. And its not like usual lag, but more of every other second the game skipping and then my players will speed up trying to catch up to the other persons hockey game.

Not sure if its my copy of the game, or if its what the update caused. It doesnt happen when I play offline, and no one else seems to have this problem online. This is for the 360 btw.

I'm loving this update, I love the fact that there's tons of penalties and that I'm on the powerplay pretty much the whole game. All these people who like to interfere and mash the stick lift button are getting shafted finally :)
