2 inches in burnaby

and its still going

Dr-Vn 12-17-2008 12:09 AM

not looking good.. getting pretty heavy in vancouver.

Lol. I was checking out the Livecams at SFU, seems like a lot of people went on it and they limit the stays to 1 minute max now. hahaha

El Bastardo 12-17-2008 12:33 AM

I'm downtown and someone had to point out to me just how heavy it had gotten. No sign of stopping here

hi5-ive 12-17-2008 12:52 AM

YAY i love snow

orange7 12-17-2008 12:55 AM

dammn..

my car goes back into the garage until it is equiped with proper snow tires..

still on 3 season tired..

I basically drive it when all the snow has melted on the driving road in this kind of weather.

Eros250 12-17-2008 01:00 AM

nothing in victoria yet

Ch28 12-17-2008 01:15 AM

Damn...suppose to be 10cm of snow on Sunday

orange7 12-17-2008 01:47 AM

but we're still in wednesday...

hmm.. according to the weather network...

the temp isn't going anywhere higher than 273.1 kelvin for Vancouver, BC

which means the snow we're getting now is going to be staying with us for a while..

and with the addition of the 10cm of snow on sunday, my car is going nowhere...

shit.. transit better not dissapoint me tomorrow... I have work at downtown!

orange7 12-17-2008 01:50 AM

oh ya..

YAY!! this thread is alive again..

this thread is like a forum of its own..

so what kind of snow shovel are you ppl using?

I'm still using a very outdated one that takes me forever to clear my sidewalk

it's like a 10cm x 10cm metal shovel with a wooden stick...

seriously need to get a better shovel...

skyxx 12-17-2008 02:19 AM

The road was very slippery at 1-2 AM last night and my car slide everywhere... Even FWD was having a hard time to drive, good luck for RWD... Be careful guys... Spotted a car flipped on Marine Dr. close to boundary intersection.

Just drove to work to Newton from Richmond. Roads aren't that bad, but people are driving 30 km/h...

Boundary this morning at 5:30am was fine for driving. It's coming down pretty steady downtown Vancouver now.
