they came and picked up the trash today, did they grab in your area ?

only the recycling truck came. the earth moved with the tire chains it was running on. unfortunately most people on my street did not/were not able to put their garbage out so he just cruised up and then back our back lane and made only 2 pickups.

All the snow is gone in my area. You would never guess we had a major snow storm last week.

n'drew 01-08-2009 11:04 PM

Do you guys think we're gonna have anymore snow storms this year?

I doubt it. We usually get a month of snow storms every year and don't see any storms after.

:werd: after the 50mm of rainfall today and tomorrow, pretty much all the snow in the alleys and cul da sacs should be washed out

quasi 01-09-2009 07:38 AM

We usually get most our snow in Jan. and Feb. I think there is a much better chance that we will get more snow then there is of us not getting any.

Well I better go and grab the bucket of salt and start salting the hell out of our ally so the snow can't melt and freeze into ice. If its snowing at SFU, I'll bet it will be snowing in Langley in 2-3hrs.
