High octane game in Toronto.

KD with 51 pts ... but still lost in OT!

Looked like he gassed a little in OT. A few of the 3’s he hit near the end of regulation were ridiculous...guy is unguardable when he’s streaking.

The Raptors vs. GSW game had a playoff game atmosphere tonight. Although KD scored 51 points, Kawhi played good defence on Durant to make sure the tall fella worked hard for each basket.

Is this a preview of the NBA Finals?

ForbiddenX 11-30-2018 11:55 AM

Don't think it's a fair preview... maybe their game in December will be a better gauge. GSW was missing 3 all stars last night and they still kept it really close. Throw in steph, draymond, and boogie....

It was win-win for the Warriors and lose-lose for for Raps...
GS wins = even with a depeleted team they still own the Raps
GS loss = no biggie, some stars were injured
Raps win = they should, GS stars were injured
Raps lose = still a 2nd teir team, can’t beat GS even with stars injured

Nlkko 12-02-2018 05:04 PM

Raptors is playing very well but regular season isn't the finals. Completely different animal.

Also you are only 1/3 of the way there. Finals are usually won by the healthiest team. You're already seeing people getting injured left and right. That's why 3-peat is such an incredible feast. 3 consecutive years of taking a beating.

Porzingis plays for the Mavericks now.

Who thinks that Anthony Davis is gonna play with LeBron after the trade deadline?

roflwaffle604 01-31-2019 06:10 PM

Holy fook Knicks really are betting it all on this off season's free agency and on getting Zion.

I think they will. But LA will be giving up alot for Ad

Nlkko 01-31-2019 08:34 PM

Knicks is such a bad franchise. I like how ESPN trying to make it look like Knicks won this trade. You trade your franchise player who is on an economical contract for a bunch of chums and it's "winning".

Clearing cap space for what? When is the last time a superstar came to NY. Melo? Lol jokers.

They could have Kristap, Zion and then go out and get another guy. Now what do they have? Their active roster is better than before (less chance for Zion). They have cap space but the way they treat people, who's gonna go there, when you could go to 2 teams in LA instead.

Spoon 02-01-2019 05:37 AM

With today's buddy buddy system, all you need is cap space to accommodate 2-3 all stars. The Knicks will likely be on the bottom of the list among a handful of teams, but the East has its appeal with how stacked the West is. If KD can bring a few friends and easily make it past 2 or 3 rounds with a max contract, he'd probably take it.

Lakers loss PG13 already. They'll have to bet the farm on AD, otherwise they're a bottom 8 team in the west. Besides, you don't hire Lebron's buddy if you want to play somewhere else.

I'll miss moments like these. Guess the beef may be real.

KD will stay in GS and buddy with The Splash Brothers.
Because he is too chicken to lead a team again.

Yes, I am a KD Hater.

There's a lot of "What if's" for New York now... betting on the "bright lights of MSG" this off-season lol ... and with only a 33% chance to land Zion to boot.

knicks currently have 14% chance of the no. 1 pick, they're tied with phoenix and cleveland.

a lot of people have been roasting them for essentially trading porzingis for peanuts, imo it wasn't a bad play, they got a good young piece in DSJ (although lots of guards on the roster already) and with the expiring contracts of deandre jordan and wes matthews, the knicks can clear cap space for two max contracts, plus they have just a good chance of landing zion, i would be surprised if they are picking outside of the top 3 in the draft

obvs no guarantees in free agency, but let's face it, the majority of guys want to play in LA or NYC. some teams just have it way easier than others based on location alone

Mike Oxbig 02-02-2019 02:49 PM

who would want to play for shitty ass knicks?

kyrie and KD teaming up to take down lebron? :fuckthatshit:

Euro7r 02-02-2019 03:28 PM

Only reason to play for the Knicks is for the money. Won't win anything playing for them.

uhh how about any one who wants a max contract and wants to play in a big market?

not everyone can join a stacked team like the warriors

Nlkko 02-03-2019 06:41 PM

Congrats on Kris Middleton and Jimmy Butler, NY. Huge win.

I dont see any scenario where KD and Kyrie would both join the Knicks. It Has been proven to be a poorly run franchise with a proven dumb ass owner. Cap space doesnt equal superstar.

You are right everbody loves to play at the Garden.... to beat the shit out of the Knicks.

DavidNguyen 02-03-2019 07:55 PM

Your thoughts on milwaukee and philly this season?

Obsideon 02-05-2019 04:32 PM

In the playoffs I don't think the Bucks system can win in a 7 game series with Toronto or Philly.
Philly will be a scary team to face.
Oh and Boston, not if, it's when they get it together will be the team to beat though.

Ah but who are we kidding, and who cares, it's the Warriors trophy. ResidentSleeper

Obsideon 02-05-2019 04:38 PM

Deadline in 2 days, the rumour mill spooling into overdrive.
Conley and Gasol for Lowry and JV? Yes plz, Lowry has been wholly inconsistent and a bunch of nagging injuries. Plus I think he's lost his mojo ever since they traded away his butt buddy DD.
Conley has that gross contract though... also a bit injury prone but worth taking a flier, he's 1 year younger and is having a great year now.

I heard Memphis rejected the deal though... maybe Raps can sweeten the pot a little bit by adding Powell or a 2nd rounder?

Nlkko 02-05-2019 07:36 PM

Between Celtics and Raptors will be the East winner. Bucks possible dark horse, remember Dwight's Orlando. They have the exact same system.

Philly doesn't have a chance. Just not deep enough. Talk all the shit, Embiid and get cooked in playoffs.

Nobody can beat the Warriors at full strength without Boogie let alone with Boogie. Thanks for playing.

DavidNguyen 02-05-2019 08:08 PM

Im not a big NBA fan. Im trying to gauge which team will make playoffs and go far.

Lakers was 29 to 1 then went to 17 to 1.
I do like philly and milwaukee and toronto. Gsw odds too low to bet.

Since boston red sox won MLB. New england won NFl
Perhaps Celtics NBa? Haha
