Bure's acceleration is fucking amazing... one fast Russian Shirokov hanging tight, lookin good. |
Don't know why everyone is saying how shitty Oberg played. What surprised me was how shitty Rome played. SO many turn overs from that guy not holding the offensive zone. |

Bure makes slow-motion look like regular speed |
I think the player that has reminded me closest of Pavel is Afinogenov. Maxim doesn't have the finish or hands like Pavel, but his speed, fast acceleration and skating stride totally reminds me of Pavel. Afinogenov would skate through 3 or 4 opposing players undressing them but always shoot wide or hit the goalie dead in the chest lol. |

Here's a mystery for me... I thought Oberg in particular last night played like shit and I remember a lot of giveaways... but in the paper this morning Vigneault specifically mentioned how pleased he was with Oberg's play? Wut?! |
I don't know who was worst, Oberg or Sauve. |

That was in the preseason during the dark ages when they sucked. It also happened to be my most favorite time to be a Canuck fan because tickets were less expensive (not dirt cheap like Grizzlies tickets, but not as expensive as prices post-2001) plus they were easy to get a hold of. |

if only we had shootouts when Bure was still with the Nucks... (except that one time when he had a penalty shot against Richter in the 94 playoffs). |

watching that Olympic footage got me excited for this upcoming February will we boo the Sedins if they score against Canada? |
Quote:
Why would we boo anyone? Cheer when Canada scores and cheer less loud when another team does. |
