The Seabrook hit on Perry was not dirty (maybe a little high). Winoski seems to have made strides from the blueline to hit Seabrook.

MR_BIGGS 03-17-2010 08:20 PM

3-2 Ducks right now....blueline is dwindling now for the Hawks if Seabrook has a concussion.

murd0c 03-17-2010 08:21 PM

Fucken idiot didn't even have his helmet done up. Hit wasn't even that bad. Out of anything it deserved a charging penalty

fliptuner 03-17-2010 08:22 PM

He left the ice to hit him. Not a bad hit other than that though.

I <3 flames for only today.

Harvey Specter 03-17-2010 11:17 PM

Thank god the Flames beat the Avs because the Canucks could get their 5 point lead on the Avs tonight and could inch closer to the Hawks.

maybe wisniewski just thought seabrook should to travel to alberta canada

Bouncing Bettys 03-18-2010 11:12 AM

so is someone like Chara going to treat Cooke like ragdoll tonight or will this game be yet another media-hyped disappointment? I do miss the days when teammates actually stood up for players and policed themselves.

murd0c 03-18-2010 11:23 AM

I want cooke to just dummyed tonight but I don't think anything will happen. Just wait until they play again one things have calmed down

I'd expect one of Milan, Chara or Thornton to go after Cooke, but Cooke will turtle, drawing Boston penalties.

The National Hockey League has suspended Anaheim Ducks blueliner James Wisniewski eight games for his hit on Chicago Blackhawks' Brent Seabrook.
Awesome.

Wisniewski gets 8 games for that hit and people like Ovechkin get 2 and Cooke gets nothing.

Well done NHL. Well done.

IMO that hit on seabrook does not deserve 8! WTF 8 GAMES!??

raygunpk 03-18-2010 01:40 PM

Actually you're a bandwagoner. Sorry.

Wow. Congrats on using your dork mod powers.

Doesn't change the fact that you are a fanboy.

Harvey Specter 03-18-2010 02:28 PM

I guess the 8 games is a message to the rest of the players.

Tim Budong 03-18-2010 02:30 PM

The difference between the Ovechkin hit and what Wisneiwski did is completely different.
Ovechkin for one, made a dangerous hit on a unsuspecting campbell, whether that had any intent to injure is to be questioned for weeks to come.

Wisneiwski skated from the blueline in full stride and left the ice to smash Seabrook into the boards. It was a high hit and clearly was a "headshot" by all standards. The 8 games is deserving compared to Ovechkin who was made an example of consistency.

In other news, the last time Matt Cooke dropped the mitts was to challenge Steve Moore on March8th(2003), im sure we all know what happened there. btw, Matt Cooke got his ass beat in that fight. That one year where Matt Cooke would score some goals, I think that was a career year for him haha, but he is NOT going to drop the mitts 2nite
