top 5 FA left 1. Marian Hossa - Montreal wanted him last year and becomes the front-runner at noon. 2. Marian Gaborik - Los Angeles appears to be the perfect fit. 3. Mike Cammalleri - Toronto needs skill up front and he provides it. 4. Martin Havlat - I think he'll find a way to stay in Chicago, both sides want it to happen. 5. Alex Kovalev - Yes he was inconsistent, but he's still a high-end performer. Quote:
new to me :D |
How much cap space is left? I'm too lazy to actually calculate. If any of you know just off the top of your head, I'd really appreciate it. |
^ apparently its around 10 million left to spend. |

Site isn't updated yet, but based off of my math skills, adding in the twins, they are at $46.06M, so they have $10.74M cap space left. So far the break down is like this: Demitra $4M Bernier $2M Burrows $2M Kesler $1.75M Johnson $1.15M Raymond $0.883M Hordichuk $0.775M Rypien $0.55M Bieksa $3.75M Salo $3.5M Mitchell $3.5M Edler $3.25M Lu $6.75M RFA's include SOB, Wellfed, and Hansen. Last year, SOB's cap hit was $0.95M, Wellfed was $0.987M and Hansen's was $0.50M. |
