anybody see where they cut to the stick rack showing Wellwood's stick blade with the target drawn on it?

Toeknee 11-28-2009 07:41 PM

I don't know why I'm still on the edge of my seats with this score gap, I still have doubts in Canucks being able to maintain a lead... knock on wood

WOO!!!! Woo!!!!!!!!

Oh, i totally agree with you that he's been playing well, and he's been putting in a lot of effort. But it's just the scoring department is where he has been lacking, and that in itself was where the monster derived from it seemed. But don't get me wrong, I'm not a burrows hater or anything of that sort, I'm happy that he's found his game again.

Very clear. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Sounded so clear, it must have been in the sound room or Gondola. LOL.

Yeah, something about the change from one piece to two or vise versa.

samuelsson! 7-3, beautiful play!

JulyZerg 11-28-2009 08:26 PM

Doesn't someone win $1 000 000 if the Canucks score 8 goals or more? or is it 1 player 8 goals?

MG1 11-28-2009 08:28 PM

Why not give the puck away to take advantage of a 5 on 3? Not much time left in the first penalty and waiting for the 6th attacker would have been too late. Oh well, they scored on the powerplay anyway.

One player five goals. Safeway score to win

spoon.ek9 11-28-2009 08:33 PM

every time the canucks start to kill the clock/protect a lead, they get in trouble. it is a 4 goal lead, but i dunno....

1 player, 8 goals?

wow...has that ever happened? The most i can remember is 6.

Darryl Sittler 10 points (6 goals & 4 assists) in a single game.

edit:

Most goals, one game: Joe Malone, 7 (Jan. 31, 1920)

So 1 player 5 goals, that's do-able... haha

spoon.ek9 11-28-2009 08:37 PM

^ lol, i think safeway is on the better end of the stick on that one ;)

Fucking Flames come back from been 3-1 and win the game but I'm happy we got the win tonight because the game Vs. the Sharks tomorrow is going to be tough.

John Shorthouse talked about this situation recently. It just isn't a good idea to give up possession of the puck. Sure youll have a 5on3, but its not guaranteed that you'll retain possession after the next whistle.

Hondaracer 11-28-2009 11:26 PM

also you weigh the option of a longer advantage period VS the 5 on 3

Burrows has been playing fantastic the last 3 games in a row now
