Whose the Devils backup?

Thanks to who posts first.

NimbeeTT 12-02-2009 03:44 PM

this game is so quiet from the lack of a crowd, it's depressing. Now that we nearly lost our 3-0 its even more depressing D:

I knew Bieska was going to have a good game. He took a shot and it actually went on net. Soon after, he passed and it actually went to a team mate. Cool........ there's still hope for the fucktard.

dL 12-02-2009 05:03 PM

Except Bieksa created a 5 on 3.

Which is normal when 5+ goals are scored for any other team, yes?

2 goals by defencemen.

Maybe, but San Jose dropped 5 goals on the Sens couple nights ago, and not a single point from a Dman. The Pens game where they won 5-2 Dmen accounted for 2 points and 0 goals. I'm just saying, tonight the Dmen are stepping up huge offensively.

mazdaboi 12-02-2009 05:24 PM

Good win tonite!!

hahah a glimmer of hope and then a stupid penalty. better effort by bieksa tonight anyways.

gg!

As has been said by a few Vancouver radio hosts/analysts, sure yea Bro might be given the starting role based on passed history

BUT..This olympics is going to have some of the highest power offensive teams going up against Canada, this is not going to be a Devil's type defensive game where your goalie might be faced with 3-4 great scoring chances a game, playing teams like the Russians and Sweden among others your goalie is going to be peppered by excellent scoring chances

does Bro have the stamina now to stop three to four times as many chances as he usually does? i dunnooo...

Harvey Specter 12-02-2009 05:39 PM

Only fault on Bieksa tonight has to be his stupid play to go down 5-3. And what's going on in NJ? Tonights game barely had 10,000 people and I thought Phoenix was bad.

I know what you're saying. The defense has not figured into the score sheet for the last little while and have been called out for it. I hope they keep it up tomorrow.

I want to see Fleury get a chance to play. I think he has a better chance against the big guns.

+1. He has the best of both worlds. He has the cup experience brodeur has, and is young like Luongo to face a lot of shots.

hypediss 12-02-2009 05:45 PM

Anyone heard what they said about hodgson? looks like his back is still injured :( ... cant be good

Hondaracer 12-02-2009 05:55 PM

a buddy of mine just had the same surgery as Hodgson like 3 weeks ago now

he's pretty much back to walking normal and doesnt feel much pain besides some numbness from time to time, and this is a guy who smokes weed and drinks beer 100 times more then he plays sports or exercises

although, the surgery is the same but the amount of vertebrae or w/e operated on is different for every case, but it is definitely concerning that he had surgery months ago now and still cant get back

I always liked Fleury because of those big ass yellow pads he used to wear
