I just picked up the Torch last Friday but having problem synchronizing with Google calendar. All events are being duplicated once I Google sync the Torch after input some new events using either Torch or Google calendar. Even the event on the Torch shows a message saying "conflicts with appointments on these calendars." The Google calendar has no problem and shows the event only once. If I delete one of the duplicated event on the Torch, it automatically delete the same event on Google calendar too. Anybody knows why?

This is the first Blackberry device I have ever used. I used Nokia E71 and E72 synchronizing the Google calendar before and never have problem like this.

haha yah it's true. $549 at Best Buy and $499 at Wal-mart in the states.

That is strange. I haven't had a problem with my Outlook calender and I'm syncing with 3 different computers on 3 different OS's.

Do you have multiple calenders showing up?

My friends got a problem right now. He can't get his torch bbm working also when he trys to use app world it doesn't work. Says unable to connect. He just got thus phone and is a first tine user so I'm not sure if maybe he missed at step or anything but a friend who has a berry said something could be wrong but he has no idea. I also tryed but I'm not a bb user, so I went on crackberry but couldn't see anything

I actually got the problem solved after searching on the net. There are other people having the same problem so I am going to post the links below in case somebody having the same problem here.

My only complain on the Torch now is the battery life. I need to charge it everyday because it goes down to 30% after about 16 hours of usage.

The only problem I've had so far is after restore my bbm contacts via the email option, only about 5 of my contacts' updates would show up under Recent Updates... after 3 days of this I had to manually re-add everyone who's updates didn't show...

Anyone else finding their slider to wiggle a very tad bit?

yeah it was solid the first couple of weeks now its a little wobbly, theres a tape fix for it or a case fix

yep, i got mine yesterday and its wobbly when i slid it up. After I push it a few times it becomes solid then i slide it down and up again and its wobbly all over. Ill be taking it back in to exchange it for a brand new one,

It's starting to get wiggly when you use the touch typing and I've been using it for about 2 weeks. It's starting to lag whenever I have to unlock it too. Brickbreaker is so much better on this tho!

Got mine for almost 2 months...I don't notice it wiggle around. Slides the same as the first day I got it. I did upgrade to v6.0.0.246 and it's running smooth.

Where can I find this tape? I was thinking about going back to Rogers to get it checked out but its not TOO big of an issue for me.

Just got my Torch today. Weird thing is when UPS delivered it to me, they didn't get my signature. Just handed the phone to me and bounced. Maybe I should call Rogers and pretend I never got my phone cause it does say "Signature Required" w/ the tracking # they gave me.

Anyways.. A problem. When I slide the phone up and I press the back/hang up button, the slider pushes down as well. Anyone else have the same problem? Gonna call Rogers on the weekend because It feels awkward and defected.

what made you go back to the 9700?

because it sucks. I used my friends for a day and I hate it 100%. The internet is LOL and the ergonomics are horrible.

since you refered to the browser as "internet", your comment is invalid and useless. anyone who actually knows anything about cell phones willing to make a comment here? ive been thinking about buying one, but i just need that little push.
