Warranty should cover it im pretty sure. There are several problems with mine

Warranty through RIM, yes. But I thought all those cellphone import stores were always very strict on returns/exchanges.

Their return policy is 14 day with 30min or less. i went over that..but i thought the warranty is for their store. ill check tomorrow

should be coming out right after?

I dint know that to think about this phone anymore, it looked so awesome on paper but all theses different problems keep comming up. I think I might get a iPhone 4 sell that get the bold and make some money at least I'll have a bb, that's someone up to date with my iPhone 3g and it's getting os6 so it will be a little bit better.

so i bought it over the weekend...
love everything about it EXCEPT the contact list is fucked up

Just have some questions hopefully u don't mind me asking.........

- how's the Internet speed and response? Any lag?
- was reading stuff about the battery life being pretty bad?
- how's your keyboard/ slider, keep reading things about a slight wiggle and stuff about the keyboard

Ill answer all that.
-Internet is fast. Cant complain about it. Very happy with the speed.
-Battery life. Turns out I had wifi on the whole time I had it. Battery life is average now.
-There is no wiggle in mine. Very firm. Seems some unlucky people get faulty wiggly sliders.
Very happy with phone now. The tin can noise is not that bad and is fixed by a firmware update. Loving the torch

lets put it this way.. i'll list all the negative parts of the phone:

-cant really type with 1 hand
-fucking contact list.... why the fuck do i have 5 contacts for the same friend...
-locking the keypad is solely relied on the lock key on the top... which isnt the hardest thing to tap..

as you can see.. nothing majorly deficient.

i bought mine at the walmart beside premium outlet. 543.00, declared at border and didnt get taxed FTW

5 contacts for 1 person? So ir makes you add a bunch of numbers or copys the number a bunch of times? Not really understanding what you mean sorry

I have a question...

How is the touchscreen protected when the device is on lock or when it's in your pocket?

Does it activate everytime something touches it? If so, wouldn't the battery drain pretty fast?

Hmmm wonder what the futureshop thing was about then oh well at least we finally have a fricken date

If I have no choice but to wait that long in order to get my phone then maybe, bc I might just try and buy an iPhone 4 instead then sell it in the states to pay for the berry.
