I installed .450 yesterday. Phone is way better. smoother, faster, the browser is faster, and the touch screen part is much, much better. still not as good as iPhone, but really good.

Anyone know where can I replace the Lens/Glass part of my torch? I have no idea what happen to it I came back to my phone and there's a huge spider web crack on my screen. The LCD screen part seems fine but just need a place since JP is closed...

Firmware 6.0.0.448 is finally official on Rogers so I had it installed to the Torch last Friday. It runs smoother than than before and somehow the battery lasts longer. The battery had about 35% after 16 hours of usage before and now it has 45% with about the same usage. The only downside is BB Map disappeared and had to install it again.

Is there any option in the menus that stipulate what closing the slider does, ie lock phone? I know it lets you choose what it does to end/answer calls.

Anyway to lock the screen in portrait?

Anyone with the Rogers .448 have an issue with the camera not auto-focusing via half press or auto-focusing when tapping the screen to capture? It works initially after a reboot...then...i'm not sure when but when I fire up the camera again, it doesn't work no mo'...

Has anyone attempted to change the housing for the 9800 by themselves? Im considering ordering a new housing online and doing it myself. Also would anyone recommend me a reliable source where to order blackberry 9800 housings?

people that frequently change their housings on crackberry.com all agree that this model is very difficult to change due to the structure and sliding mechanism, they definitely don't recommend it.
