on the RWD 06 mustang?

Yep. So far so good, no problems. I was expecting a lot more slipping and sliding, but There's almost none with the Altimax Arctic tires

Mugen EvOlutioN 11-24-2010 09:27 AM

GabAlmighty 11-24-2010 09:49 PM

Summary

Total snowfall amounts from 5 to 15 cm are forecast for the south coast by Thursday afternoon and evening. This is a warning that significant snowfall is expected in these regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.

Details

Light snow continues to fall over parts of the south coast late this afternoon as a weak warm front remains draped over the area. However a second more moisture laden system will make its down from north b.C coast tonight and cause snowfall rates to increase overnight over the region. The snow will change to rain Thursday afternoon over most regions as the frontal system draws in milder marine air from the pacific. Over the inland regions like the Fraser Valley..Howe Sound..And Inland Vancouver Island the change over to rain will be delayed until Thursday night or even early Friday morning. Patchy freezing rain is also possible over the inland valleys late Thursday when the transition from snow to rain occurs. Total snowfall accumulations will generally be between 5 and 10 centimetres. Inland regions will receive closer to 15 cm total snowfall.

CP.AR 11-25-2010 09:44 AM

My All-seasons holding up just fine. Leave plenty of space, no sudden movements. stay in Richmond

MindBomber 11-25-2010 10:15 AM

I'm officially using Nokian snow tires for life, unbelievable snow performance.

Phat_R 11-25-2010 10:43 AM

Blizzaks + DCT on low grip setting = no problemo

badgerx3 11-25-2010 11:03 AM

still have all seasons on my subie, should i still be driving?

AWDTurboLuvr 11-25-2010 11:26 AM

I wouldn't recommend it but it's your own discretion. I passed a lowered WRX hatch this morning that was on all-seasons and he didn't look like he was having too much fun. AWD + wrong tires in the snow = spinning all four wheels going nowhere.

Jermyzy 11-25-2010 11:29 AM

Winter "performance" tires are useless...my Yokohama AVS Winter V901 are no better than my all-season tires...

My wife's General Altimax Arctics should arrive this weekend hopefully...

Yoko "performance" winters aren't any good, generally... the Ice Guard is the only good snow tire they have.

My Dunlop Wintersport 3D's have been awesome so far.
