unfortunately when i was going to make my purchase for 15 inch steels with general tires, steelies were already sold out, and plus I didn't want to shell out 82 bucks per alloy wheel before shipping and taxes. http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/7672/img0540p.jpg http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/2056/img0542s.jpg So I bought some beater rims, gotta rock the JDM look, even in winter LOL  |

Got my winters on this morning at Sorat :) Bought steelies for my tires $55/pc and $10/pc for install and balance. Pretty good deal compared to several other places I checked. They did a very nice job! |
Just got winters on the stock steelies and waiting for new rubber for the summer rims... Should I buy lock nuts for my winter tires??/ Got all 4 brand new... Spent some good coin on them and wondering if its worth it to people to steal them.. |
Wow that's great pricing from Sora't |
i think its fine dont bother with lock nuts not unless you got some balling mad fancy rims otherwise i wouldnt sweat it |

Hey guys , I am a noob. Just wondering if the whole ICBC won't cover you if you get into an accident and you don't have Winter tires is happening in Vancouver too? |
AFAIK with ICBC, it's a question of whether the tires are suitable for the conditions. Last year A/S would've been fine but if things go as predicted, this year, winters are a must. |

An older guy sold me his sons rims, because he left them in his garage. I love craigslist. Could someone please confirm, that ICBC requires tires be suitable for driving conditions for coverage to valid. That would make sense on mountain roads and the interior, but a lot of people in Vancouver use all seasons year round regardless of snow; I can't imagine none of them having coverage in the event of an accident.. |
I personally have never heard anything of that sort. But I am no a professional nor should you take my thoughts as the final answer. |
