It's actually said that the htc desire hd is a faster, smoother experience due to motoblur. |

Slated to release on April 14th. Best Buy and Futureshop are taking 50$ pre orders for certain carriers. I just sold my iPhone and don't know whether to get an atrix, incredible s or wait for the Nexus. I'm siding towards the Nexus cause of the support. Posted via RS Mobile |
Just preordered mine at Best Buy. She hinted that the price will be 500 and most likely releasing this Thursday. Futureshop Forum verifies that they're getting stock in and 7th is a good guess. I'm pretty excited, finally ditching the BB and iPhone for my first droid. Posted via RS Mobile |
I pre ordered mine two weeks ago at futureshop..I just read that they will have it this weekend and will be sold at full cost rather than with a contract Can't wait...so sick of my 9700 Posted via RS Mobile |

^ I saw your posts on the Futureshop forums :). Do you work for them? I'm wondering if Best Buy is the 8th too then. |

Robelus one will have the 850/900 needed for their 3g network. AWS one will have the 1700 for their 3g network. Rumor has it that Robelus version will get the SLCD whereas the AWS one keeps the SAMOLED like T-Mo gets it down south. |
That will be complete bullshit if Robellus models get the SLCD. I heard Europe was the only country to get the SLCD versions? |
I'm backing out of the nexus if the rogers one is slcd rather than samoled..I guess we'll find out in a few days lol If you go to the google nexus s page under tech specs u can choose the country and only a handful are slcd the rest is samoled Posted via RS Mobile |
WTF is the point of getting samsung to make the Nexus if they aren't going to use AMOLED? |
I'm going for the Atrix and waiting for Gingerblur if the Nexus S doesnt get that damn SAMOLED. |
This was posted on mobilesyrup http://mobilesyrup.com/wp-content/up...-s-pricing.jpg Source: Mobilesyrup cheaper than the Telus one: http://mobilesyrup.com/wp-content/up...us-nexus-s.jpg http://mobilesyrup.com/wp-content/up...-s-pricing.jpg Source: Mobilesyrup so it does look like they will be SAMOLED but why is Roger selling it for cheaper if they are unlocked phones? |
Pretty sure its samoled Rogers just released pricing 99 3y voice n data 499 outright Mobilicity is 499 Telus is 549 outright and 179 3y EDIT: didn't see above post Posted via RS Mobile |
Fido just released their pricing..same as rogers 500 outright 100 on 3y Posted via RS Mobile |
Im skipping the S I already have the N1. its rockin! |
Rumoured Koodo has it for 450. Smells like bs though. I'm currently on Rogers now and wouldn't mind buying it from them. However, if Koodo or someone else drops the phone earlier or cheaper. How will warranty thru the carrier work? Rogers has been astounding regarding their 1 year warranty in the pass with my pos 9700. Posted via RS Mobile |
I don't think the kooodo one will run 3g on rogers though fs forum said its gonna be in stock within 7 days and will be unlocked if purchased outright or 3y for rogers/fido will get 50 fs gift card..hopefully they'll have it this wknd Posted via RS Mobile |
Now people are reporting Rogers CSR reps are saying to go to stores tomorrow. The mix up with dates is killing me. |
yea this whole pre order is so messed up esp at fs, ppl at stores have no idea what the hells going on lol i guess top-down communication fails at fs, |
|
I'm going to try my luck at Rogers stores tmr morning. If I manage to grab one i'll get my money back at Best Buy. |
