of if bought from KOODO, its cheapest?

Phoned multiple Rogers stores. They said they don't know when theyre getting them at all. Phoned *611 and talked to sales. No dice cause he didnt know either. Phoned Best Buy again regarding my pre order and they said they didn't have any and that they dont know. Okay so why tell me April 7th and then proceed to take my money and not even get the release date right. This is getting really annoying.

Damn if that's the case I'll try to get a koodo one since its cheaper lol and it'll work 100% the same as a rogers one on rogers

edit: just called fs and the girl should have it by friday and to check back on that date but she seemed to be in a rush to get off the phone so i dont know if its true or not

Wow that Koodo price is insanely cheap. Very tempting.

Everyone on the Future Shop forums ragged about how lacking the preorder and knowledge system was. So what happened? Mods closed down the thread. Lol in my opinion thats just terrible. People gave money to a company that won't verify release dates or even give a price up till today. Ridiculous.

I just went to fs metro they had nexus s for telus but wouldn't sell it full price and said that rogers one will be tomorrow wtff the guy prob wants commission to get it on contract

Same story. Girl at Best Buy told me I could buy it outright last week. I put money down and now I find out its only for contracts. Wow. Best Buy Cambie had 2 an hour ago for Telus. Again, only for new contracts.

Another fun fact. Telus charges 689.99 for the phone outright if you don't have a telus acct. The 550 price (I thought it was 525) is only if you're buying it outright with a telus acct. Wow

If you're lucky enough you can get the regular buy out price instead of the inflated one. For my Desire I just ordered it direct from Telus website.

Like !MiKrofT said, try ordering it from the website. IIRC they axed outright online sales after a certain period of time, but you can always try.

Thanks for the insight. I'm going to try and hit up Best Buy tomorrow on my day off. Insider info from my bud says they're getting Rogers stock tomorrow so thats my first bet cause I have BB credit to use up too. If they don't let me buy outright, hell will be brought forth. If not, I'll hit up the multiple Rogers stores at Metro and continue the hunt. I wouldn't mind grabbing a Koodo one for 425 but I don't know how warranty would work considering Rogers has been godly to me in the warranty department.

apparently MobileSyrup is reporting that the Rogers version of this phone is now available at Future Shop locations around the country. Apparently, the comments say Koodo phones are still in transit, so if it's true you won't see one around yet.

Fs just called and said my phone is there gonna pick it up after work hopefully they won't be asses and sell it outright to me..will update u guys

LOL after I saw your post I phoned coq BB and FS and they both said they only got Telus ones in. I was like "these fckers are holding out if Kayceee got one". I wonder if we can get the phone locally at a Telus store at Mikrofts pricing. 550 or w/e it is is ridiculous.
