Am I the only one that uses natural scrolling on the trackpad? All my friends (even mac users) think I'm weird for doing so. :( |

i use a cheap, smaller sized cooling pad with two fans, USB powered that i got from XS Cargo. The reason I got a 12 inch cooliing pad is so that i can position it on the top left side of MB when opened, as that's where most of the heat comes from. |

I just came from a PC laptop but I have no problem with the natural scrolling. It actually feels natural to me, same idea as inverted Y axis when you game with a mouse |

btw for those who want a FREE VIDEO CONVERSION SOFTWARE use HANDBRAKE. no watermarks or worries its completely free and high quality. just thought i would post this as many ppl are buying macbooks now. |
I actually just downloaded Handbrake the other day, +1 on that recommendation. Hassle free and it converts videos quickly and efficiently. |

The most I'll use my Macbook Air would be for Photoshop/Lightroom. Should I upgrade to i7 and/or 8GB RAM? |
maybe you should consider a Pro model if you are going to use Photoshop... Photoshop uses a lot of resources and is basically for light computing. I would go with more ram and get the i7 as well. but if its a choice Ram > i7 |

Having second thoughts about getting MBA now. MBA - 13" 256GB storage, 8GB RAM, 1.3 Ghz i5 - $1488 MBP - 13" 750GB storage, 8GB RAM, 2.9 Ghz i7 - $1443 MMP Retina - 13" 128 GB storage, 8GB RAM, 2.6 Ghz i5 - $1555 Don't know how to choose! :QQ: #firstworldproblems. HELP! |
I would go for the retina since it has the newer body style and better screen then the normal pro and better specs then the air. On Friday night FutureShop online had the 13" mbpr 128gb for $920 and 256gb for $1000. I ordered one of each and then they cancelled my order LOL Posted via RS Mobile |
If you're going to do any image editing, the retina display will be invaluable due to the higher resolution and better colours. |
Go with the retina, overall a better machine. |

Retina. |
Might as well go for the refurbished 15" MBP Retina at 1599. The 13" only has the HD4000, which in some cases, has trouble supporting the high-res display. The 15" is only 1 lb heavier, but has dedicated graphics and an i7. |
hey I'm looking just to pick up a basic macbook pro for 990 at best buy. Just wondering when the next generation of macbooks are coming out? Posted via RS Mobile |

I mentioned FutureShop had price error for a few hours for the mbpr for $920 and $1000 above. My buddy who also ordered at the same time I did received their 256gb mbpr today. FutureShop cancelled my orders. They checked their receipt and it was $1121 tax in Posted via RS Mobile |
Ordered MacBook Air 13 inch i7, 8g ram yesterday! Educational pricing and 100$ iTunes card! Can't beat that! Posted via RS Mobile |
Just updated to Mavericks Golden Master on all my macs. my retina macbook pro gained almost an extra hour of battery life! So far, everything runs smoother than mountain lion. But overall, most of the improvements are under the hood, other than slight update for some of the apps to look more like iOS7 |
