Yeah I found that but it didn't help. I just turned it off last night and when I turned it on this morning, it was connected to mobolicity =/

twitchyzero 11-28-2012 02:04 PM

just got the OTA for 4.2 on my stock rom yakju build
any word if swift key flow will be free for those will are already on swiftkey X or 3?
I also get jagged seams in photosphere even when I do it carefully lol

!MiKrofT 11-28-2012 03:31 PM

4.2.1 OTA is also out as well.

CRS 11-28-2012 03:39 PM

Still on 4.1.1 stock everything.

Le sad.

Graeme S 11-28-2012 11:44 PM

PA is on 4.2 beta5. Gorram it, I want 3.0!

As a sidenote, the only way I can get my computer to connect to my phone is by restarting. Once I unplug and then replug it, nothing happens. I need to restart my phone to get it to connect to my computer. Is this a thing with my phone, or is this normalesque?

no LTE on Galaxy Nexus
I like this phone better than the OneX
but each to their own

It's the cable; not the phone.

kevin7352 12-29-2012 10:31 AM

hmm...tried again this morning and it works

magic?

Graeme S 12-29-2012 11:22 PM

Can someone do me a favour and rip the stock 4.2 keyboard? I'm running a custom rom and haven't got Asian languages--kind of a problem for me :(

Get out of ban free card for the one who does?

Not magic, it's because you touch yourself at night.

kevin7352 01-03-2013 08:23 PM

are all galaxy nexus phones able to work with mobilicity?

Graeme S 01-03-2013 08:25 PM

And wind as well. But wind is the better choice.

There are at least 2 varieties of the Google-Samsung Galaxy Nexus -- a GSM version as well as a CDMA version. I think only the GSM version will work with Mobilicity.

Graeme S 01-03-2013 08:36 PM

IIRC the CDMA version wasn't sold in Canada.

kevin7352 01-04-2013 12:55 AM

okay cool. i'm using it with fido right now so most likely it's the gsm version and will work with mobilicity? reason why is because they just set up a site at SFU and i'm there most of the time so now i'm considering switching because it's much cheaper

It's a pentaband phone. It will work. All of them are pentaband.

impulseX 01-04-2013 11:19 PM

okay guys, just curious what rom you're running (pa, aokp, etc.) and what you think about it.

still on bigxie deodexed release but lately i've been noticing it lagging a lot more so hoping to switch to something better.

thanks in advance!

J____ 01-05-2013 12:01 AM

liquid smooth. best rom ever

SkinnyPupp 01-05-2013 12:16 AM

I use the same bigxie rom, but I change the kernel every other day. So far I haven't found a kernel that is fast and stable AND battery efficient. Usually it's just one of the three. With 4.1.2 there were plenty out there. I don't know why these guys are having so many problems with 4.2

wingies 01-06-2013 08:38 AM

CM 10 for me with franco kernel. Smooth and stable enough for me, I dont like to experience with roms as its such a hassle to have to set everything up each time

theevilslave 01-11-2013 07:09 PM

Anyone try the purity rom?

[ROM][JB 4.2.1] ♦ PURITY v3.1 ♦ POWERED BY AK KERNEL - xda-developers

Graeme S 01-11-2013 07:13 PM

I still adore my PA with Franco. Though I wish they'd fucking finalize their AOSP releases. it's been eleven betas and all of them have been stable enough for me. Srsly, it's getting annoying having a 'your ROM has an update available' messages every other day.
