Proud new member of the 1000lb club! 1005lb and climbing actually. 425lb DL, 295lb squat. 285lb bench. Shoulda been 1025lbs. Squatted 295 x 2 today real good. Soo good I was pumped to squat 3 plates. A little too pumped tho. Was shaking like crazy before I unracked and just sorta phyched myself out and didnt make the 315. Too much thinking not enough lifting. Next week for sure tho! |
Do you guys still intake lots of protein even on the day after your workout? (assuming that you alternate, day on day off that is) |

I mix my protein with water, especially handy when I just bring the protein in a shaker bottle to mix with the water fountain in the gym. I've seen one guy in my gym bring his protein in a shaker bottle and a seperate 500ml milk-to-go bottle, work out for an hour + then mix the milk with protein. I don't know, something about room temperature milk kinda makes me think that can't taste any good. |
I remember mixing protein with water and it ending up tasting like shit. I think thats only because I bought some cheapass Whey Protein at Superstore back in the day, garbage. Scarred for life! But having time to pit stop at home and get some ice cold milk is awesome. Makes the ON Double Rich Chocolate taste 10 times better. Stuck with that flavor + milk for so long. Chocolate goodness. |

No shakes for me. I'm super lactose intolerant and most of them get their protein from Milk so that means no drinkie. If anyone uses any lactose tolerant shakes lemme know what your using. Berz out. |
Just take lactaid pills before you consume milk. That's what I do, and I'm lactose intolerant. |
