pretty crazy chest workout tonight, i actually started with dunbells 100x25 110x15 120x15 125x14 for some reason they hit my chest hard i was doing a short range of motion, i have actually started to do that on alot of workouts. then i did some incline flys all types more or less i start at my face then go to my knees, really good rounds the whole pec off, smith machine bench lol, got up to 4 plates and 25 lol then did some dips with pec dec, but i do pec dec seat all the way to the bottom and actually push my ass almost of the edge and blow my chest out, works your chest like nothing other |

Been cutting out breads/wraps this week and for the next month. equalling cutting 170 carbs and about 1000cals. Am also not having any cheat meals or no more than 1 every 2 weeks. I am trying to retain the cals thru fruits/veggies/fats/protein. but im STARVING. I understand fruits/veggies are sugars too, but imo, their positives outweigh the carbs. My body seems to respond to carb changes up and down. quickly Anyone have any good suggestions on something to fill me up, especially durring the work day? Im basically on a job site 10 hours a day so Im abit limited. Is there such a thing as a 12volt magic bullet? |

As for quick meals, I know I'll get flamed but when I'm in desperation (especially when I'm at work) I either get a burger with no condiments and eat the patties and have a protein shake with it (fairly filling) or since I work at safeway, I get 3-4 of their barbecue chicken legs and a protein shake. If I'm feeling super healthy, I take an avocado and a spoon to work, cut it in half and scoop out the good stuff, it's very "meaty" and fills you up quick. It's very bland, so eat it with something that has a lot of flavor (ie spicy bbq wings, or a bite of bbq chicken leg + avocado). Avocado has something like 20g of carbs per cup, but 16grams of that is dietary fiber. Other than that, I found crystal light is a godsend, and there's these bacon crisp chips that have 0 grams of carbs but are high in fat (its bacon that's fried/heated till its popped) and they fill you up pretty good too with a side of meat. Any safeway carries those as well (in the same area as the specialty chips/pringles and crap). Hope this kinda helps .. low carb is a fucking bitch :speechless: BTW when I cheat .. I get spicy chicken wings .. they've got 2 grams of carbs per 6, but other than that they're pretty solid. They might cause some water inflation because they've got so much salt but whatever. In other news, clean 3 plate deadlift FINALLY! Grip died because I did shoulders/shrugs/lots of warmup before deadlifting, but it was money :) Finally one of the few at my gym that go above 2 plates when deadlifting, on the bigboy bar. |
got so many things running through my head but had a great workout today in the morning and another in the afternoon o clear my mind. morning - chest: dumb bells flatbench - 10*80 10*90 8*90 8*100 6*110 dumb bell flys on the medicine ball - 10*50 10*50 10*50 cable cross over - 3 sets dumb bell incline - 10*80 10*80 8*90 and HIIT on the bike (35 mins) in the afternoon followed by an hour of soccer |

Safeway brand as its 1/4 the price I dont know if I can do this low(er) carb thing. Im absolutely starving the whole way thru the day and its killing work. I had to goto subway at 2 this afternoon just to fill me up some. |
I never really did a lot of deadlifts before... What kinda weight is "good" or more than most people lift. My last deadlift day I did 3 sets of 10@225lbs. My last set was 275lbs and I did 6 reps. No idea if that's good or not as I never see anyone else doing deadlifts lol. Berz out. |
For an intermediate guy, I would say 1.5 times your body weight or like 3 plates (315lbs), whichever comes first, is probably the point where you're starting to pull decent weight. I would say twice your body weight or like 4 plates (405lbs) would be 'good' and beyond that would be getting into the neighbourhood of posting stats on bb.com :troll: My best was four 45s and a 10 (425lbs) for a few reps. But I havent really DLed in like 2 months. And I personally dont like to do any heavy sets more than 6 reps. And I dont like to really strain to pull a rep. And as I always say to people just starting to pull deadlifts, DO NOT RUSH PROGRESS. trying to be a hero WILL explode your back. |
a bro told me to stop fapping and take cold showers and ill see more results faster is this real life? |
yeah rrxtar is right on the dead lift thing, going for singles at high weight is risky, i was floating around 6 plates for a bit and it was just getting to be to much on my back, so i do more volume so i see more results in my back |
