Nope I don't in general for dumbbells, but as I go up I feel the pain gradually getting worse and worse. I can't lock my right elbow even if I had a choice. I can with the barbell though.

I was thinking elbow tendonitis? :( Or something like that.

Love legs days, leave the gym with my legs all shakin. All the shoulder talk in the last few pages got me to do some shoulders as well. Stayed a little pass close but the employees seemed cool with it.

Beat.

used 3 1mr pills today first time, serving size is 4 and my sample had 6 so i just took 3, i took just prior to working out tho in the changeroom, for benching i had more energy but it didnt help with my reps as i usuaully have a lot energy in the gym without any pre workouts ne ways, but when i did biceps HOLY best bicep workout of my life arms were the most juiced and biggest id ever seen them, my lifts improved from last week, and even after my workout my mood was wayyy up i felt the happiest ive ever been in my life for no reason really, all my stress and problems just went away, i usually bus to and from the gym as its a 45+ min walk but i felt so happy i walked home haha

i had the same thing in my left elbow, what helped for me was icing it everynight before bed and i did less weight more reps for like 2 chest workouts, when i got back to original weight my elbow felt better and my strength went up a bit, after about a week the pain was gone. thats what worked for me

My legs are fucking sore from Friday's workout. Can't wait for this friday lol. I've been having some awesome workout's lately. I attribute it to less stress in my life. I've been battling my bitch ex for access to my baby and I finally won huge in court. Ever since then I've been focused and lifting hard and heavy. Feelsgoodman.

Really liking my shoulder workouts lately.

I know I'm starting to look decent again when people I don't know start referring to me as "Big Guy" My self body image is terrible. I have a friend who is 6'5 here in Smithers. He's not a small guy either. I weigh the same as him now and when we were talking he said "Your bigger than I am though" and in my mind I was like WTF? No I'm not. It's funny though because when I look in a mirror I see a different image of myself than when I see myself in pictures beside other people... oh well.

Berz out.

I haven't been able to dumbbell chest press for a month now because every time I do the extension part of the movement, my right elbow hurts. Same for barbell, but not as bad.

What are examples of lower and upper lat exercises?

I've been asking this question for ages. It actually caused me to stop working out over a year ago. It got to the point I couldn't do a 10lb tri extension. I had it in my right elbow and it only went away after about 8 months of not lifting. Now that I'm back at the gym again I can feel the same pain but in my other elbow this time. I have no fucking idea what it is or what's causing it. Is your elbow tender to the touch but only at a certain point and angle? That's what mine was/is like.

Berz out.

is this normal?

the only time i get sore is when i start my workout from being on a break. After the first week when the soreness goes away, all my workouts after, no matter how hard i push.. i don't get sore anymore

my friend said i was lucky that i don't get sore... am i?

that's normal, but sometime it depends after the first soreness, normally im ALWAYS sore after each workout cus im pushing myself til i can't no more, but if you don't get sore after the first time that's normal

Not at a certain point and angle, but more of the weight being held. I can dumbbell press low weight without a program, but as it gets heavier, the pain gets worse and worse. I did heavy shoulders today with dumbbells, but I didn't notice any pain at all. I believe it's only when I'm laying flat on the bench.

chin3se604 07-11-2011 09:15 PM

that's good to know... cause i know a lot of people that do get sore after a good workout

and for me after a good workout...I'm fine.. so i thought i wasn't getting the full benefit of my workout

Berzerker 07-11-2011 09:29 PM

My Chest gets sore after every workout to some degree... Legs... yes. Sore as fuck. Back shoulders and arms don't really get sore at all but they do feel "worked"

Berz out.

anyone know why this happened ? So far it's just a one time thing, all i did was lower the weight and was good to go, but i wanna know why it happened in the first place!

PK6o4* 07-11-2011 11:24 PM

bench dips with 2 45 plates today. feels good man. havent got this tricep pump in awhile.

Supafly 07-12-2011 06:56 AM

so i hurted my right shoulder and right wrist during a declined bench.....fml, sharp pains in both areas when I lift heavier.....

would it be okay to drop to lower weights and do higher reps or should i just stop and wait for it to heal???
