a.)30 mins talk time
or
b.)15 days usage

that you dont like it, then you can refund, and just pay for the number of days you've used. ie. decided after day 5 you dont like it and want to return everything... then it'll cost..

that's not how fast your speed is alll the time right? i've hit those speeds a few times before, but on average mine is only around 2-3mbps..

no, its the big 3's offerings. Mobi is still all you can eat, but throttled if you exceed 100MB/hr. after that hour it speeds up again.

this is only for the new plan. if you're on an older plan, it should still be unlimited.

anyone know if i can get a duplicate sim card but in micro sim format for wind?

im grabbing a 2nd phone but it uses microsim but id still like to use my current phone from time to time and wont be able to swap :/

Going to go on Wind soon, but the $5 for 50MB Pay Your Way add on is really discouraging... :(

If you're going to be using data, then you might as well just pay the 25 and get the 100MB. At least that way it's only 25, and another buck a meg for each one over that.

i've mentioned this many times in this thread, but i'll do it again for you.

their trial works like this.
pick a plan, pick a phone.
you have 15 days, or 30 talktime minutes as your trial. whichever you use up first, ends your trial.
if before that, you decide, no i dont like wind, you can refund everything. but you'll have to pay for your pro-rated usage. (ie. x/30 days * $monthly plan)

the only time i've ever had reception issues is if i come up from the skytrain, it either takes a few minutes to regain reception, or a few seconds, depending on where i am and how lucky i am. other times i experience troubles is within a really big building thats surrounded with walls. (ie, steve nash sports club locker room)

speeds are decent for what it is.

on a side note... was out of town this past weekend..

in abby had good reception with 3.53mbps down and 0.35 up
in langley at luxe seafood restaurant, managed 4.39 down and 0.35 up

Anyone else having trouble with the phone not automatically switching back to the home network when you're back in the wind zone? This is on a BB 9900

ive changed my network mode to 3G only. got sick of it taking forever to switch back..

Came across this issue the past 2 days around the Chilliwack/Abbotsford boundary.

Just have to turn off your mobile network in wireless option, wait a couple seconds then re-connect it.

Harbour centre food court is a soft dead zone for me (I get signal on the side opposite the vietnamese place). Beyond that, I'm good. I work downtown in an office building, so it was kind of important for me too.

This is false. The "Code" they send you is back to your account page and from there Nothing. My posts on facebook and DMs on twitter are being deleted and ignored, along with a bunch of other unhappy wind users. I did all this 3 minutes after they posted this promo. Within 10 minutes my first post was deleted along with a bunch of other wind user rants. I like their coverage and LOVE how much stuff is included in one bill, but pulling a fast one just to get likes online? :suspicious:
