I know the Note has a feature called "Ear Safe" or something, but i think you cannot disable it. I use Bluetooth in my car so i never noticed.

Check the settings in the music player. There's probably a resume once connectedness bluetooth option.

hey im contemplating on grabbing a note but iuno the diff between the two versions. what's LTE network? im edging towards the i717 cuz i dont like the button for the n7000 -_-. ppl are telling me to grab the s3 instead cuz of the quad core

Psykopathik 05-27-2012 12:49 PM

do you even have an LTE data plan?

I picked the i717 because its more versatile. has AWS and LTE. :fullofwin:

jaywoo 05-27-2012 01:19 PM

nope but my plan expires in a few weeks

Simplex123 05-27-2012 01:52 PM

^ Who is your provider? If you are on Bell/Telus then you just need an LTE enabled phone and sim card. Only Robbers requires LTE plans.

LTE network is a super fast mobile internet service. eg: EDGE -> 3G -> LTE

differences:

N7000 - physical home button, no LTE, faster CPU, must ship for warranty purposes

i717 - no home button, all capacitive buttons, LTE, AWS network capable (mobilicity Wind) slower cpu, local warranty coverage.

if a slightly slower CPU doesn't bother you, i'd go for the i717 for more options.

when renewing don't forget to look at whats your total cost over the 3 years, not just how much the phone costs you NOW.

otherwise both are the same.

That feature is only for certain region. Official roms from HK do not have that but then that's not an i717.

i looked at the model number and it says GT-N7000. guess not :okay:

I use Camera Zoom FX app to take pics instead of the stock Camera app. I think it takes better pics, especially in the dark. There are also great features.

Toggle volume rocker to Silent and it should mute the shutter sound.

upskirt problems.

VV84 05-29-2012 11:17 PM

If you really want to get rid of the shutter sound you can always flash ICS Stunner on to your phone. Also you can get rid of all the samsung bloat ware crap at the same time (no real s-pen support tho).

Tim Budong 05-30-2012 12:14 AM

Anyone running paranoid android... this phone is like made for that haha

Simplex123 05-30-2012 01:16 AM

It's only on the n7000 which probably only one or two people here are using. Everyone else is on the i717 with a very limited selection of ROMs.
