It's one of the harder ROM that I've flashed. Pretty much flash the rom and r1 so you're on ICS then you gotta root it but make sure you get touch CWM first. Find it here.

they are GB. ICS is not officially available.

however seeing as they are flashed, i don't know about the warranty.

What roms are you guys running? I'm on Telus and I've noticed that I get really slow data speeds when I'm on stock based roms like Objection/OnlyOne and I only get regular speeds when I'm on buggy CM9/AOKP roms = =

I'm running on the Objection June 28th RC1. Before that i ran OnlyOne Beta 4 and found the battery life not as superior as the Objection rom. In terms of data speeds, i'm on Rogers and I get anywhere from 17-25mbps when i do a speed test.

Edit: dammit i realized it and tried to delete but its still here. Anyways, running the official ICS FROM at&t now. Doesn't seem as good. Released via Kies yesterday.

What uses have you guys found with your S-Pen and do you guys even use the pen? I find myself cutting my friends' faces out and putting them on random bodies. That's about it.

update from Samsung KIES, make sure you write down the serial number that's on the phone (behind battery) and type in the model EXACTLY as

SGH-I717

all caps, no spaces, including dash.

put phone in download mode, plug into PC, open KIES, choose tools, upgrade firmware, click next and sit back.

root the same way as before, same software (ODIN) and applicable files.

the roms can be used with Clockwork Mod ONLY on any i717 Note . the N7000 (international) look elsewhere.

Yeah.. tried both FJ and Objection. Still get shitty data speeds so I went back to King Kang cuz I didn't have any huge bugs and was getting normal data speeds. Just missing S-Pen which I kind of want but don't use often hahah
