Is it too late to cancel the order and re-order it again?

Alternatively, you could send them an email to see if they can give you that 5% credit. :ahwow:

Safeway has this 4 day Black Friday Sale on right now. Chapman's Premium Plus Ice Cream 500 mL for $2.49. Damn, some good Canadian ice cream for a very good price. Sale ends Sunday. I love their Cold Brew Coffee ice cream. Looking for their Caramel Salted Crunch, but sold out at most of their locations. Might have to go Save-On-Foods for price match.

Their Compliments (store brand) sausages are on sale for $2.99 (375 to 500 g). Safeway's been having pretty good sales recently. A couple of weeks ago, they had Lactancia Cream Cheese for $4.99, which isn't great, but you receive 400 Scene Points with each purchase, making it essentially $1.00 each. I went and they were sold out. Got a rain check, which they weren't supposed to. Anyhow, two weeks later, the cream cheese was on sale for $2.99. I redeemed my rain check.............. they paid me to buy these things. Paid $2.99 and got $4.00 worth of Scene points.

Wow, just got me a few coupon books last week at McDonald's. Books cost $6.00 with proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House. The coupon booklet contains 8 coupons for free items. 2 cheeseburgers, 2 soft serve or pie, 2 medium fries, two medium coffees. It comes out to about $20.00 of free stuff. They're so easy to redeem. One coupon per visit, so being the frugal asian I am, I go get one item, do some shopping and get something afterwards. At standalone locations, I go inside, then get something else via drive through.

$4.00 Canucks deal and get medium fries using coupon. Right now, they have a buy something and get a free medium drink offer on the app (pick up only). Win!!!!!

Edit: coupons expire on the 31st of January.

radeonboy 10-22-2025 06:40 PM

^They probably will accept a second redemption if you go back after finishing your first one without going through the drive thru. Can’t imagine the teenage staff caring.

I just picked these coupons up today - definitely a good deal if you can still find them. The one near my work laughed when I asked and said they were long gone. I imagine most of Richmond is emptied out.

I haven't seen a teen working in awhile at mcd

keifun 10-23-2025 11:43 AM

Lately I've visited two Timmies locations in Burnaby that aren't all with Indian workers. One of the location actually has a young white teenager kid at the front counter. Shocking.

Plenty out in Ladner / Tsawwassen from what I see, and mostly Caucasian too if that matters.

Subway got BOGO deals again.. sort of. You buy one Footlong and you get another one for 2 bucks. I tried to use it on the app, but it kept fucking up so you manually need to enter BOGOFL2 in the coupon code for the app.

Enjoy!

p.s. that dominoes 13.99 unlimited topping deal is still on going. it was extended or something. Best deal for cheap eats right now.

spoon.ek9 10-27-2025 09:50 AM

y'all still eat Subway? I haven't set foot in one for YEARS lol

it always gives me upset stomach afterwards :heckno:

6793026 10-27-2025 09:54 AM

how? subway has mostly fresh veggies.. i guess its when ham sucks and moldy then that's when it's bad.

Back then you do get a huge ass sandwich.

think of it as "weight loss" footlong. Eat one, purge, end up in hopsital, tada!!! 10-20lbs gone.

spoon.ek9 10-27-2025 09:58 AM

I don't know what it is about the place. I just don't agree with it anymore. I'm usually quite the iron stomach too, I can handle most anything.

Badhobz 10-27-2025 10:04 AM

you just cant stand pedo jared and his subs. Ever since he lost all that weight hes turned into a real monster.

note to anyone; if you ever see me drop 100lbs, run for the hills. Ive become hilter.

spoon.ek9 10-27-2025 10:14 AM

such a twisted story about his rise and fall

Wasn't subway's bread deemed to be so full of artificiality it couldn't legally be considered bread or something like that?

I mean, sure it's fine as fast food but to call it healthy food is a stretch.

unit 10-27-2025 11:33 AM

their chicken is like 50% chicken... cbc marketplace took it for lab testing.
subway sued after the news broke out, and cbc took it for another test somewhere else and got the same results lol.
