the 13inch tablet is great for watching porn. big enough to get a good view, small enough so you can hold it with one hand and jerk it with the other.

dev mode used to cost $20 but now it's free as of july 2025. you have to u/l your pic and your DL to confirm your ID though to MS to create a dev account to emulate that route.

lots of YT videos how to, it does seem a bit of a pain but i think a lot of emulation has a bit of a process.

Cheap blowout mooncake today.

bcrdukes 10-07-2025 12:57 PM

This is a lie. They are charging DOUBLE at the stores today.

GLOW 10-07-2025 01:45 PM

i haven't seen sales on mooncake like in the past. wonder what's going on, i found it odd.

RabidRat 10-07-2025 02:13 PM

Maybe it's a reflection on inflation vs discretionary income. Maybe when people are financially hurting, they don't spend on mooncakes.

Personally I've been less eager to buy mooncakes in the last couple of years because they've gotten kind of expensive.

Maybe we should use mooncake pricing as an economic indicator.

spoon.ek9 10-07-2025 02:47 PM

mooncakes are calorie bombs anyways, best not to indulge too much in them lol. hell, I still have two sitting in my freezer from last year. do not want.

You should trademark that. RS's official Mooncake economic indicator.

God help you if you buy imported from HK "ice" mooncake with like 4000 yolks and 2 dabs of lotus paste.

red kryptonite 10-07-2025 03:16 PM

I’m 40 and I’ve never bought a box of moon cakes in my life. My parents always have a bunch gifted to them and passed on to me.
My favourite are the lava yolks and winter melons ones but they never seem to make it my way. They’re good but not worth the money.

Badhobz 10-07-2025 03:20 PM

i was talking to this chinaman at work, and hes like bruah, you should know that the more yolks the LESS VALUE. dem ducky egg yolks are worthless, the lotus paste is worth a lot more money

spoon.ek9 10-07-2025 03:32 PM

The only reason I ever buy them is to please elders. Otherwise, they would get precisely $0 from me.

Badhobz 10-07-2025 03:33 PM

YOU LOUSY CHINAMAN !!!! respect our culture and spend $$$ on worthless cakes to appease some sort of a cunt bag who took a rabit to the moon or something like that.

I don't think there are Sungivens in Toronto.

50% off. One box just white lotus paste (no yolk), and the other a variety pack with lotus paste, red bean paste, black sesame paste. Moon cake party.

whitev70r 10-07-2025 05:24 PM

And I went after work. If only I had time to take a 'coffee' break and make a run, I wanted those refrigerated kind with the thinner skin and mango pomelo in the middle.

I'm really bad when it comes to traditions, stories, culture etc. One, I didn't grow up knowing these stories and why we celebrate x/y/z so these holidays mean absolutely nothing to me other than wasting money. Two, as a CBC I really didn't give a shit about learning it because I didn't understand the language growing up anyways. Three, as a kid I only care about the ungodly amount of unhealthy sweet shit I could stuff my face with and nothing more. Now that I'm an adult with horrible metabolism, I don't want to eat the crap anymore anyways lol. I guess fourth point would be that I don't intend to teach future children of mine any of this stuff (unless my partner wants to, she can handle that department).

coles notes: young spoon dgaf about traditions/holidays other than the food itself. old spoon can no longer eat this unhealthy shit and will not teach future gens.

Badhobz 10-07-2025 05:42 PM

Being a CBC doesn’t make you any less of a chinaman. It’s in our DNA bro (unless your a mixed chinaman….then its like you might as well colonize yourself with your other half). You know that feeling when you get some shit at a discount.. you feel such unbridled joy! That’s the same feeling 69stylez gets when he colonizes a little part of Asia (WHAT THE FUCK DID I TELL YOU ABOUT SCREWING OUR WOMEN!?!?!?)

You don’t even have to be all ching chong about it, but there are some parts of your “chongness” that will popout unexpectedly. Usually at inopportune moments….
Try dumping used motor oil down the fish drains… even if your head is against it, your inner chinaman will lavish such sensations. LIKE OMG! Polluting the natural world for my own convenience?!?!?! Where have you been all my life…. Instant ching chong boner.

BIC_BAWS 10-07-2025 05:42 PM

LOL I asked this girl out and she said sure to sometime this week. I proposed Monday and Thursday. And she comes back with, Monday is Mid-Autumn festival.

The conversation right before this was how I went to a honger oriented hot pot event despite basically being a gwai lo, culturally.

Point proven.

spoon.ek9 10-07-2025 05:55 PM

I love getting good deals and saving money on shit lol. As much as possible, I wait for things to go on sale before buying them. Even just buying groceries I'll be like "nah, fuck you! go on sale then I buy" *laughs in chinaman*

6793026 10-07-2025 09:10 PM

you can fridge mooncake but that's gay.

What I do take part a lot in is chocolate sale. I use chocolate eggs to bake as chocolate chip substitute. Then you got expired chocolate whcih who cares... then I put them in my ice cream machine and churn with chucks... epic.

jing 10-07-2025 09:48 PM

Mooncakes were $8.88/box a few weeks back. First time buying it ever.

I think there was a report on YoY mooncake sales in relation to the economic situation, especially in China. I can't remember where I saw it.
