I think I contracted food poisoning from one of the stands at the RR location. Chicken was improperly cooked. My friend who also ordered from the same stand/food item developed the stomach flu as well. |
ya new night market inreased to 1.5$ yst, held up lineup; place sucked too |
How's the quality of jailbait lately at the markets ? |

sao many OGs :okay: |
I've spoken to one of the vendors who's been a part of night market for a few years. The riverrock one is, apparently, charging less for stands than what bridgeport used to charge (bridgeport is charging vendors ridiculously low prices now). The admission fee probably has a lot to do with that. I've been to both. They were both almost on par. Riverrock was really only good for the novelty of it. Food was expensive (more than birdgeport imo cuz portions are tiny), it was a giant hassle getting there and leaving, nothing particularly special was there, and even though it's only $1.50 I'm not too crazy about the idea of paying a fee just to get in. Went once. Don't feel need to go again. If I go, it'll be the bridgeport one. |
^ that's why you wait till closing :fullofwin: |
It's 50c more, even if you're working minimum wage, I don't see a problem with it. I don't see the problem when parking is free, as well as having a multitude of vendors to browse around, whats there to complain about when its now 1.50c? It's not like they suddenly decided to charge for parking, as well as making the price $5 or something. |
do any of u have the thought that ppl might bump into u when u are eating a skewer and then that wooden pick poking into ur inner cheek? :heckno: Went today and was $1.5 admission and was dodging ppl the whole time cause saw so many goofs from highskool that i don't even wana see :fuckthatshit: |
The thing is.. they probably realized they are getting so much business they decided to raise the price by 50 cents. They will probably try it out at the new price for a few weeks then raise it again if business is still good.... |

To protect yourself, you should hold the skewer positing like when you are brushing your front teeth from the side ways, thus you'll never poke your throat. So eat it side ways especially the Tornado Potato |

^^LOL SO TRUE |
I would imagine that given the popularity of the night markets (especially the river rock one), the vendors would be scrutinized for food safety and business permits? Running hot water, proper storage of food, city of Richmond business permits... I haven't been to any this year maybe someone can shed some light onto this |
^they do have hot water and running water there Some booth was selling horse skewers, didn't think they were selling much :lawl:. |
