cant wait for this flavored beer trend dies. instead of adding random flavors, i wish local breweries could just focus on perfecting lagers, ales, stouts etc. etc.

At BCL, Sam Adams has a free glass when you buy a 6-pack. I'm indifferent towards the beer, but the glass makes it worth the purchase.

Langley. They still had a bunch of glasses this afternoon. I didn't see any of the lager, so I went with their IPA. I went with the signature glass instead of the IPA branded one, though. Beer and wine stores may have this promo, as well.

Picked up a few Satori's last night. Went to a couple other places and they were already sold out.

Got some Sartori from Toby's on Commercial today.

Is it me or does anyone find that Driftwood fill levels vary quite a bit from bottle to bottle.

hmm never noticed, ill have to take note from now on though

grabbed a couple sartori on the way home today, will drink one tonight and see if i want more

Keep in mind for anyone buying they almost have to be drank in the first month, after that it's nothing but skunk

Don't know if I really care for the Sartori this year

The Nose is always crazy but this year it's even more impressive, tones of different notes coming through. However, I find the after taste/back of the tongue to be almost over powering. Very dark chocolate/nutty almost peanut butter/burnt flavours

Also has a lot less citrus on the initial taste. Don't know if I'm a fan. Will have to drink a few more see how it goes.

I also found the bottle I drank last night to taste slightly "skunky" almost like the bottles I held onto for a few weeks on last years release

Are they releasing Nectarous again this year? They released a bunch a couple of months back- June/July maybe?

My favourite beer right now is the Unibroue Ephmere. Delicious!

BCL in Langley has cases of the glasses. They're in the back corner by the fridges. Look down and to the right, and you'll see the Sam Adams 6-packs in the fridge.

So this was probably the highlight of the week for me.

As sad as that sounds...
