I'm getting just under 1.5 days but I leave my screen on full bright and LTE on full time while Wifi when I am home.
One thing I did notice is that the last 10% of charge goes by way quicker than the other 90%. Sorta like the gas gauge in my car. The first 3/4 tank goes a lot slower than the last 1/4 tank.

Apparently all you need to do is change some settings in the service menu.

Worked for both my friends Mobilicity and Wind S3, both has ICS when I did it

i just ditched my iphone 5 and picked one up yesterday...rooted and flashed CleanRom 2.0. What's everyone else running?

first impressions:

pros:
- screen is amazing
- app quality have improved immensely since my last android (google nexus one)
- battery life is AMAZING, about 70% after work comparison to 30-40 on iphone
- definitely missed the customizations
- unlocking is free from instructionst through forums
- LTE/signal is way better, speed is better because of better coverage?
- apps load quick
- 2gb ram doesn't seem liek it'll ever hit its limit
- pictures seem to turn out better in both lit and low light...im guessing better processor/ camera sensor?
-
cons:
- its humongous...almost dropped it
- pens useless imo

2A charger will definitely charge up the phone normally, if I use iPad's 2.5A, it's even quicker, I think, but most of the time I am in my office using either PC USB port or 1.0A universal USB charger.

Imagine phones next year might have 4000 or 5000mah, it's going to be a trouble

They're probably talking about the Mugen extended battery.

SumAznGuy 12-05-2012 08:51 AM

I used the USB adaptor from my HP Touch and it charges my phone much faster than my computers USB port.
Not sure how much current that adaptor puts out.

Psykopathik 12-05-2012 09:49 AM

Usb port is about 500 mAh output. I only use AC chargers rated at 2A or better output. Anything less takes ages on a 3100 mAh battery. The Touchpad charger is one of the cheapest and best quality chargers available. The oem charger is rated at 2A isnt it?

I just updated to jedi X5 rom on my t889 and get over 24 hrs of use.

If you're charging overnight or for prolonged periods, it is better for the battery to go for a lower amperage charge than high amps.

Playing games like Mass Effect Infiltrator however makes a world of a difference when trying to aim at heads quicker.

Plants Vs Zombies, feels like playing with a mouse but its a pen instead. That's all the games I can speak for at this point.

Use the sixaxis app and a ps3 controller, then you're. Gonna have a good time.

Only thing is that aftermarket china 3500 mAh batteries are only $6 on DX and brand new OEM Samsung batteries for the Note I is $10-15 so I don't expect replacement batteries to cost too much next year.

Why bother? Not like batteries are expensive. Buy a second battery and you're. 100% charge in 30 seconds and your phone stays slim. Extra batt can fit in your wallet.

Good point, I'm still in the old mindset of super expensive cellphone batteries lol.

I just leave the flip case closed when talking on the phone.

@ShadowBun is it the case hinge thats broken and not the phone itself? if it is just go to samsung store or where ever and buy a new back case.

ShadowBun 12-05-2012 04:09 PM

both looks fine. I think it might hust be the back cover being uneven.
I can push it in and hear a click sound but it will come out if I let go.

does samsung have the exact cover? because ours have the NFC on it
