I m not sure if my phone has fucking broke or what.. I often clean up my task manager and now I press the home button, the task manager no longer pops up. it did once for like a split second and it disppeared.. wtf is going on dont tell me this phone already needs to be sent out to get refurbed. |
Oh, now it shows after a restart. this is great, obviously something went wrong. cause it kept popping up for split seconds. |
Try re flashing the rom? My phone was showing no sim for the past while intermently til the other day where it would just say no sim. Brought it to service center in richmond and got it fixed under warranty. Paid 30 $ for rushed service and was able to pick up in 3hours. Good news is that they reflashed my rom with the new update that comes with multiview Posted via RS Mobile |

Grrr.. Got a invisible shield full body protector. The sides and backing are great, but the screen protector is garbage. I had it for 2 days now and there's impressions left on the protector from using the stylus. :fulloffuck: i believe it's the original "military-grade" scratch protector. Invisible shield is going to replace mine with the HD screen protector, is anyone using this right now and care to comment? |

I use custom rom though...called CleanRom 3.0.1, a new version came out yesterday that also added multiview |

For rooted and flashed Note 2's: What do you guys do when you have to bring it in for warranty repairs? Heard there is a binary count and if its not 0, then warranty is void. To check binary count you can go into Download mode. Hold volume down, power and home button for about 10 secs and then you will see an android logo and press volume up. Also in your settings>About Device> Status>Device Status would say 'modified' and not 'normal' |

got mine at richmond center. theres a kiosk at the north end of the mall. $42 and some change after tax sigh* their next shipment that includes the hd screen protector dosent arrive till after christmas. :okay: I believe there's another invisible shiels kiosk at lougheed mall as well. edit* saw your location. heres the link the full body should be an option. http://m.zagg.com/invisibleshield/sku/S26SAMGALNOTTWOLE |
i just picked up this phone last night the screen reminds me of my old OG SGS, just bigger I had a motorola atrix HD and the screen on that was way nicer in terms of colour and sharpness. Now I know why ppl complain about whites on the super amoled screens :okay: but the battery life and browsing experience of the note 2 :fullofwin: |

2. unroot it 3. use "triangle away" to reset flash counter to 0 |
For the people using the Jedi X6 ROM, what makes it better than most other custom/clean ROM's? Is it because it was one of the better ones for the original Note? |

No matter how i adjust my screen it looks shitty, all i can do is to push up the brightness |

Using ODIN to flash stock roms (assuming you're back to stock recovery as well) shouldn't trip the flash counter, or so I've read. If you flash a stock image, that should get rid of root automatically. So you can use Triangle Away and then just use ODIN to flash stock image. EDIT: This particular guide is for the S3, but the general order of things is the same. http://www.darkyrom.com/index.php?th...gt-i9300.7912/ |

1. you have to put it back to stock rom 2. use cf-root to root+flash stock recovery 3. use "triangle away" to reset flash counter to 0 2. unroot it via superuser app |
