Well Apple needs their own mapping solution like Nokia anyways its gonna happen sooner or later. They could of let us use google maps while they iron out the bugs in the map but i guess its a double edge sword, the more ppl they have using it and complaining about it the faster it will get better on the other hand they could also rapidly lose supporters.


I'm more worry about the 5s, i'm a die hard apple fan and i find the iphone 5 while a worthy upgrade, extremely boring. 5s is gonna be even more boring

It mainly comes down to the software features and not the hardware. the hardware this year didn't disappoint me, it was iOS6 that didn't bring all these ground breaking features like iOS 5 did.

Does apple have to activate the iPhone 5 in store?

Battery life has been amazing for me so far, but then again ive only used it for texting, light browsing, and IM apps. I noticed LTE browsing does drain it a bit. Have kept voice calls to a minimum to stretch out that buyers remorse period :fullofwin:

So lets all share where we can find the cheapest lighting cables and adapters when they come out. I can't see myself paying 45 for that adapter cable, fuck.

My battery is awesome, listning to music all the way up to Kamloops then all the way back, with some light rsing along the way at every stop. only 25 percent down.. how is it that where everyone complains about battery life for the iPhone and i always get awesome battery life. lol.

It could also be some sort of switching chip considering the cable is made to be able to plug in either side up. If that's the case, it would probably need to be able to "identify" which pins on the phone are V+ data+ V- data- etc. since they would be "wrong" one way without an intelligent means of "switching" that.

Someone with more electrical engineering knowledge would probably be able to give a more definitive answer with regards to this, possibly.

also if you guys want to get chat on your phone, just use google chrome, and use desktop mode.

I used to use atomic web, but it doesnt refresh chat properly anymore

Safari really needs desktop mode. I don't want to use chrome. Safari is faster on iOS and builtin

i used 259MB already in 2 days, wtf. lol. i dont even know how that is possible. but im glad i got a 2gb plan. i turned off all auto data push apps.

atomic web is 3-4times faster than safari for me.

nabs, im betting it was when you first setup mail accounts, and it pulled everything down, and all the new apps.

i never sync mail or fb to my phone... im sure its jsut cuz i speedtested a few times when i got the phone.

Wow these maps suck it can't even get where I'm at within a couple blocks, this is the most bush league half assed thing Apple has done, they are usually on the ball when it comes to user experience.

I synced my my phone by mistake and now I have all of these contacts from the fb I dont want lol

they fucked up maps big time thats for sure half assed it!

The sad part is they tested these maps, they knew how bad they sucked yet someone gave it the green light anyways...do they hate google that much that they'd rather ridicule themselves than wait till they got their shit together?

sold all my iphones, time to buy some AAPL PUTS.

i believe supply of iphones is enough. it's demand that's not high enough. APPL stock is gonna go down.

If Steve Jobs was still alive he would have made 100 percent sure that the app was ready at launch. I think now the guys only care about monies.
