Finally a day of decent battery life. Mostly on wifi and 30% brightness

My Nexus 4 randomly shuts off over night when I'm charging it. It won't turn back on until i disconnect the battery charger..anyone have same problems?

So... my LED pulse light stopped working last night (or when I noticed it)

When I first got the phone, I installed light flow lite and it worked with all my apps.
Suddenly, light flow lite stopped working altogether. So I uninstalled it and re-installed it. Now it only works with SMS, but not with Whatsapp. Maybe I had a trial version before, but it def worked with Whatsapp before.

Now, if I disable light flow and just use the stock pulse notification, nothing shows up! This happened around the same time I installed Power Toggles...do you think they are related? I am already receiving a new RMA phone, so I'm not too worried, but would like to know if it actually isn't broken...

Might it be that you updated Whatsapp and changed the settings?

Display settings, Pulse notification light may be unchecked if you had lightflow installed/enabled. That may be why the stock led notification isn't working with lightflow uninstalled.

Hm...whatsapp has it's own notification light setting and it was on (to white). But still nothing came on. Maybe they were conflicting before? I'm going to try it out in these configs:

whatsapp light ON, light flow OFF, stock OFF
whatsapp light ON, light flow OFF, stock ON
whatsapp light OFF, light flow OFF, stock ON
whatsapp light OFF, light flow ON, stock OFF
whatsapp light OFF, light flow ON, stock ON
whatsapp light ON, light flow ON, stock OFF
whatsapp light ON, light flow ON, stock ON

I had pulse on with lightflow on and it worked, and it stayed on after I uninstalled lightflow as well.

I may have an extra 16gb model up sealed for grabs if friend decides not to pick it up pm me if you maybe interested, trying to help out a fellow RSer

nothing worked...I don't understand whey light flow stopped working with whatsapp...

I hear lightflow can be picky sometimes. I don't use it cause my ROM comes with custom notification built in. Try removing light flow and turning stock notification off. reboot phone. Then turn on stock notification and see if it works as is.

So I'll be picking one up in the next month or so, but I treat my phones like shit and want to make sure I have a case before I pick one up. The only case I've found that is anything like an otterbox is the Ionic Guardian Armor case; which, frankly, looks like ass. Is there anything similar (hard shell with soft corners, wraps above the screen by a bit) that anyone's found?

I know most of you are fans of slim cases, but...yeah.

Seriously, what's the point of wireless charging if all the accessories cost $70

Google's wireless charger should be cheaper if it ever gets released.

Google really needs to get on the ball with accessories. With an expected update every year, I want my docks and special chargers when I get the new phone or tablet. Not 6 months after the device has been out and everyone is rumoring about the next model.

Yeah. I want a bumper too. Damn I shoulda ordered one even when I didn't have a phone. The poetic borderline will suffice till it becomes available again.

Finally got sick of stock kernel + rom..battery life is terrible lol

Most likely false. I mean it better be cause that'll piss off a lot of users.

So my phone is rooted, and i downloaded and paid for the franco app, what settings do i change in franco to conserve battery life? or do i have to dl something else too? thx

Just got shipping confirmation for my phone. Was 7 to 8weeks time frame.
