Still using my S3, 4 & 5 didn't seem like that big of an upgrade for me to swap up. But, at the moment I'm waiting for the S6, reading some big changes happening including an earlier release date.

The Note 4 camera reviewed a lot better than the S5 so if they just stick it on there it'll be a big improvement.

When is the S6 coming out..? Already? The 5 just been released not long ago.. They're moving way too quick!

Samsung releases phones way to quickly in my opinion. They just released the Alpha and I'm sure the S6 won't be to far behind. Usually comes out a few months after Apple makes a release.

Release dates for the previous generations have been April/May and rumours/reports say first quarter for the s6.

I have the otterbox commuter. The thinnest otterbox you can get (I think) that offers any 'real' protection.

At first I wasn't a fan, but it's saved my ass on more than one occastion. Most recently while I was hanging xmas light at my parents place, it dropped out of my pocket, waist height onto a concrete paver stone. Not so much as a scratch, and the phone still works great.

Another reason I like it, is for the raised bevel it has around the screen, so you're able to lay the phone screen-down, and not have to worry about messing up the screen.

Otterbox commuter and glass front screen protector here as well... the damn thing won't break. No excuse to get new phones anymore =(

can anyone recommend someone that can replace my s4 screen and lcd? I've done a few searches and i'm seeing about 220ish for it. Thing is, I have another screen and lcd that just needs to be swapped into the one with the broken lcd.

Yah i've been watching videos and looked through those links. I think i can manage a DIY. I called a couple of places and the lowest quote I found for a simple swap is $65, $175 if i don't provide the lcd. The actual display LCD is cracked and not the top glass.

edit/update - I did it my self, was fairly easy.

So I wanted to give my my S4 for my mom to use but it won't read any sim at all. I try both her sim card and I purchase a new one from Fido still said it no sim card inserted. Anyone what's the issue and how much will it cost to fix it?

This is common problem with S4
My S4 randomly reboots beucase it can't detect SIM card....
I haven't found any perm fix yet.
I ordered new sim card tray from ebay, only $4 shipped, if that fixes great if not, i'm only out $4...

Not really but it took them only like 40mins.....

Was using my S3 up until a week ago. Power button is having issues. Looking for a new phone now... I want the S6 but can't wait another 4 months...

Funny thing is the only reason I got the S3 about 3 years ago was that my blackberry power button had issues. Whats with me and power button issues.

Looking at LG G3 but I'm not very convinced that it`ll be good enough. I wish S6 was out sooner.
