you need to go to your iPhone settings and turn off Imessage or else the phone will continue to receive them.

Just updated and notice some speed improvements

Prior to the update my phone memory would be running around 900 megs @ it's lowest, but averaging closer to 1100 megs.

With the update it's averaging around 750 megs!

Updated my phone yesterday... Definitely some performance improvement.

Anyways, ran into some minor issue! Noticed that I'm blasting text messages 'STATUS' to 9216 after the update.

Anyone experience this issue before? I'm with Fido

dropped my S4 into the soap bucket at work while washing a car the other day.. got it out of there right away and it was still on and working fine, I put it in rice for a while when I put the battery back in it sounded like it was going to explode and the screen was flickering but the next day it works like new :lawl:

Ironically I was joking with someone a few days before this happened about how many times I've dropped it without a case and it being fine after I said the only way you could kill it was water but not even that could do it :badpokerface:

If you get an S5 after this, you can drop it in the soap bucket as many times as you like cuz its waterproof.

what if you don't have that iphone anymore? I have the same thing happen sold the iphone. I even went to my itune account and remove that iphone.... but still happening.

is anyone having problems syncing your contacts to google? My contacts in my phone which were all synced to google suddenly disappeared and it says that there are" currently experiencing some problems and syncing will be available later"

After 3 weeks of using the phone on Kit Kat update, I noticed the battery life drains like crazy. Anyone else's battery life gotten worse after the update?

Also, notice a bug on the stock weather gadget too, always shows 40+ Celsius for Burnaby/New West. Gotta refresh it every time for it to go back to reality temp.

anyone having troubles with the lockscreen clock? mine recently started to act up by not updating its time. today the clock read 6:02am when its really 11:30am. usually a reboot or changing the security to none and back to pattern will fix it, but its just temp and will happen again.

im on rogers and i dont get the update for kitkat when i check for it. anyone know why?

My screen keeps flicking...... I don't think is auto brightness because the brightness doesn't change. Is like those old fluorescent light where when you first turn on it flickers like crazy for a few seconds.... happening to my S4 now constantly.

Is there anyway to add the weather and quick camera on screen for the S4? Like the S5

my friends phone won't charge, probably a cut connection with the charge port, where can it be fixed? he went to one shop and they declined. probably because it is not an replacement fix and requires soldering.

Updating to android 4.4 kitkat will give you that option.

Google play service is draining the battery like crazy lol. Went to bed 12 set phone to airplane mode. Woke up only to found that I only have 85% battery left. Now at work I have 78?%......

Wish my phone wasn't so laggy. Never have that many open apps, no games, I just want everything to be faster, more crisp. :(

If only I wasn't such a bitch, I would root my phone, since that sounds like it fixes a lot of the common issues...
