Was just telling someone last night I wish I got into bitcoin back when ulic I think it was who made a post about it like 10years ago :lol So, how do I buy some bitcoin, or fractions of bitcoin? What's a safe wallet? |
I’ve been using shakepay and coinbase I think shakepay is better |
I used Coinbase in the past - but now that they don't take most credit cards, I have been using Shakepay. Only thing with Shakepay is that you don't want to keep your coins long term on there since it isn't supposed to be used as storage. It is just an exchange. My co-worker was talking about Bitcoin back in 2015 before it spiked. Wish I listened to him then... but I couldn't wrap my head around the technology. He now has a house on the island that was bought entirely with bitcoin. :P |
i used to mine coins and had about 3 or 4 back in the day when they were just worth a few dollars. i tried to check my wallet on my old hard drive but couldnt find the files. may try sending the drive off to a data recovery place. worth a shot i guess |

As others mentioned, best way to buy and sell crypto right now is using ShakePay. They support eTransfers and bank wires for larger amounts. Unless you are planning on doing the long game, I'd probably just leave it on an exchange like Binance, especially if you plan on trading. Just make sure you enable 2FA with an authenticator. If you're doing the long game, I'd probably recommend you get a cheap hardware wallet like a Nano Ledger. |
Anyone want a Shakepay referral? They were advertising buy $100, get $30 extra using referral. Referral-ee gets $30 too. Not sure if still active. Here is my code if anyone wants to try. https://shakepay.me/r/ELOSATF |
Just got a Crypto ATM installed in our gas station today and they want just over $32462 per bitcoin. That's like 4k over the global average. |

Heard tonnes of horror stories from coinbase so use at your own discretion. No issues transferring from shakepay to binance. Technically there’s no easy or hard way to transfer coins. It’s all the same. You send your coins from your address to your other address and that’s it. Sometimes, it does take some time Not your keys, not your coins |

I just started with it about 3 months ago and then saw people on here talking about shakepay... I don't like coinbase's interface much, it's really poorly laid out... but what have been the problems you're referring to? |

Get on now before it hits 60K PogChamp |
