The history of HODl. It was a misspelling of holding in 2013.

Crazy price movement today.

Dropped from 50k to 46.5k on some exchanges and now at 52k.

Mine is from Feb 5th. Still no words on it.

i ended up buying from scalpers!!! LOL
Just think about those new GPUs might not be able to do full speed mining.
And semi conductors will be short till 2022. Good luck finding a minable GPU till 2022

Anything you can get now, its good.
But also need to worry about crypto market...if it dips 50%...GG for sure.
So gotta play within your limit.

btw, thanks for the tip for cooling my rigs down. I installed window screen on doors of the room, so i can leave door opened without my cats going in.
Now, it dips into 38-43c for GPUs, 76-82c for mems !!!

CRS 04-26-2021 07:39 PM

Here I am just trying to get a GPU cause my 970 is dying.

I actually rented a bot to try out, but am having no luck when it's working right, and much of the time it's not working right, only a few days left on the rental, ugh

Manic! 04-27-2021 08:53 PM

Saw this on facebook. Are people actually paying this? People must be on crack.

Anyone tried Helium HNT mining yet ?

Seems very profitable from youtube videos

StylinRed 04-29-2021 12:43 PM

When I first saw it, I didn't think I could make good use of it

Seeing it in action I guess I could have lol

Preorders been in place for awhile now, but delivery isn't expected for sometime in May

But supposedly they're already about to release the new version so :/

Manic! 04-29-2021 12:49 PM

Just had a women come in to use the bitcoin atm. She was talking to someone on the phone. Every time she put in a $100 bill she said in Jesus name. She put in 5k. I tried to talk to her but she would not give me to much info. This is not the first time she has come in to use the machine but this is the first time I heard her say in Jesus name.

StylinRed 04-29-2021 01:23 PM

What bot did you rent to try? Stellar?

StylinRed 04-29-2021 01:49 PM

Naw I rented eStock it was working fine for like a day, then I kept getting failure to request errors

Reinstall and it'd work for like a day or two, then the same thing, and reinstalling didn't do anything

And while it was working I kept getting soft bans from amazon, and captcha requests, but I had a captcha service

It was a two week rental, still available for a few days, but I just gave up

I hate to be a debbie downer, but proof of work is going to be one of those outdated technologies... POS ecosystems is where the industry is headed to, so I'd encourage anyone that are interested in decentralized systems and especially defi to look more into what's happening in Ethereum. Gas prices have been under 100 gwei for the past little while which makes it more affordable to just try things. If you really are budget conscious and want to understand how it works, I can recommend you playing in CZ/Binance's playground on Binance Smart Chain because it's very user friendly. And if you really want to dive deeper, look into what's happening in the Solana Ecosystem

With POS the price of eth should skyrocket.

Speakin o helium miners, physical units are selling on ebay for insane amounts $13K+

Damn wish I preordered a lot of them

Manic! 05-01-2021 12:38 PM

The hardware for helium miners is nothing special. Before you use to be able to build your own hot spot because the source code is available. Now they lave locked it so you need a special code to be able to mine. Only people with the code are the manufactures helium has approved. This is the guts of one of the helium miners. It uses a Raspberry Pi.

StylinRed 05-01-2021 01:20 PM

Yeah I was thinking we could just make our own, since they're just routers, then I saw they have it locked

But, damn even preorders are being sold for double/triple the price

Edit: there's also reports of people getting empty GPU boxes when ordering Zotacs from Amazon

So I guess someone working in the factory, or somewhere along the line, is stealing gpus

Tegra_Devil 05-04-2021 03:33 PM

Anyone chia mining? I'm kind of confused how it works, but I have a spare pc with an 8700k and 32gb ram that I could just slap a few hdd or sees to
