That's mining life. My rig that does over 100 mh/s was doing 24 mh/s today. 2 of the cards where doing less than 4 mh/s combined. had to reboot 3 times to get it working right.

I bought two refurbished alienwares with 3080s in em for 2k-ish (after tax) thru bestbuy marketplace, like end of Jan/beg Feb, been hoping to see more, but none have shown up on there since

They suck for cooling tho and r so fucking loud, so I just parted em out for my rigs

Figured this one out, I forgot to mention I got a new case, and ig this case sucks for cooling, a look at HWInfo told me all I needed to know, memory junction temps start out at 95° and just keep goin up n up, it's as if I had hot air blowing straight onto em

My fans for my old case couldn't all fit (240mm ones) and while this case is bigger, it's fans n vents r small

Depends on how you pay. If you pay with a CC or PayPal, might be worth a shot. Might lose a few bucks if the exchange rate fluctuates heavily and you need a refund though.

For me, I'd just pass, but then again you are covered if it's a CC payment

Would you guys buy 3060s at msrp if available?

I can get a bunch from Taiwan, but I'm kinda hesitant on the idea of more gpus before I even recoup my costs thus far

I'm just hobby mining, so no. But I'm sure there's a huge market for it on CL/FB so you should be able to recoup costs even if you need to do a large group buy.

ya i dont plan on going lower than a 3070, but im sure you could slip them for a pretty penny to help pay off your rigs faster

but if you get word on 3070 or 3080s ill gladly join a group buy

3060 Tis still good?

Yeah I didn't want to go lower than a 3080 but the fact that the 3060 comes with 12gb memory had me thinking they'd be fine

I went through with the purchase anyhow, you guys are right I can totally flip them if need be, but it's not a huge shipment from like a factory, just a computer store

yes, they are still good..only reason i would go with 3070 over a 3060ti is that the 3070 mine a few other coins better. It gives me some diversity if I want to pivot
