I find Splitz Grill in Whistler pretty good. Five Guys is good too but they don't serve beer.

Shredded lettuce, triple O's bun, patty thats as thin and dry (and as manufactured) as cardboard, frozen bacon served up to me by some first time server that will be fired if anything that comes out of her mouth wasn't directly out of a handbook she had to memorize when she was hired? Can I please pay 16.50 for that too? I wouldn't give it a zero though. Zeros are reserved for Browns social shithole (house). My generous rating would be a 3 for cactus, because it would be edible, and the server would likely have either a nice pair of tits, or nice ass.

Thanks! Ill give them a visit this week and give a review

No prob. Just so you know what you are getting into, its just burger, cheese and bacon. I think maybe horseradish aioli? No leaves or veggies on this guy. The flavour is all in the meat, and its just awesome.

This pretty much sums up my 0/10 rating. And it was so soggy, the burger fell apart. The beef patty was seasoned to the point it didn't even taste like beef anymore. That and I eat with my mouth. Not my eyes.

Stay away from the Burgers from Burgers, etc. Absolute garbage for $15.

White Spot Pirate Pak burger isn't the best, but I don't give a fuck. It's served in a boat, and it wasn't too bad, though a bit runny.

Did you go to White Spot for their Adult Pirate Pack Day? If so, who the fuck cares! It's for a worthy cause! :)

Charity is a +1 to getting my burger served in a boat, although they did miss the cheese and bacon in my brother's order.

I'm heading down to Seattle this weekend, where's can I find a GOOD MEDIUM-RARE/WELL done burger?

Boomer's Drive-in is not an option.

bcrdukes 08-16-2013 02:33 PM

LUNCHBOX LABORATORY | Lunch, Dinner & Happy Hour from 11am to 11pm ?

Disclaimer: I have never been here.

Had the Avocado Bacon Swiss burger at Jimmy's on First (across from Safeco) last Monday, it was delish: Menu

Mind you, I was pretty :drunk: so can't give you a sober man's rating haha.. but I could definitely go for one right now!

OK, I'm gonna try Lost in the 50's. I'm always down for a good burger.

While I'm at it, will see if it really is anything like the 50's, LOL.

^ Was super tempted to go last year but heard the line-ups were epic long and it wasn't as "original" as the actual branches in SoCal.

One of the best burgers I have had.

Went to Town Hall public house in Langley on Saturday for breakfast and had a burger called the fully loaded. Great bun that was buttered on the outside so my fingers got greasy. There are lots of topping choices for the burger. i found the patty to a a bit to thick and could have had more of a crust. also could have used more fries. 8/10 will go back. Cost $14.

Photo's taken via cellphone.

Townhalls is pretty good for what is essentially a chain restaurant in the townhall brand, their bun is quite good

Town Hall in South Surrey (The old Black Forest) is 5 mins from my place, I've been a few times and have only been disappointed in their stuffed chicken wings. Overall decent food at better prices than an Earls/Cactus type place. Burgers served on brioche buns. Haven't tried the stuffed jalapeno/goat cheese burger yet. Next time I go, I'll order it and share a review.

Hondaracer 08-22-2013 08:33 PM

sorry to kind of sidetrack but fuck, joseph richards group must just be rolling in cash with how many bars theyve taken over with the townhall brand

I don't hate it per se, but for these reasons, I am impartial to it. See below.

If i wanted something of similar stature, I would have gone to say White Spot.
