However I still think it's a joke to boo your star rookie goals (or "Lu" if you prefer, not that it makes a fucking difference) |
@TSNBobMcKenzie: As per @Real_ESPNLeBrun, Callahan's latest offer to NYR is 6 years at south of $6.5M per. NYR appear to be holding line at $6M per. Posted via RS Mobile |
$559 for that jacket? Fuuuuuuck that! That's outrageous shit better made of genuine zebra pelt or some shit! Posted via RS Mobile |
On a serious note with Daniel going down to injury this could be the best cop out for gillis on no trading kesler. I mean gillis wants to try and fuck over other GMs trying to get the better deal. With other GMs being smarter then gillis they most likely will not trade with him. So with that being said gillis will do absolute shit during trade deadline. Posted via RS Mobile |
Im a die hard Canucks fan since 94 but this season is pathetic. I barely can get myself to watch one period. The Canucks are boring. The system that Torts has implemented just isnt working. Until something is done to make them fun to watch again I don't plan on going to another nux game in awhile. Definitely not worth the money. |

My bet is that Gillis will do absolutely nothing because the GMs in the rest of the league are just going to blackball him. |
i don't think daniel's injury will affect kesler/edler trade value very much. they will be looking at how these two players can make a difference for their team and the fact that they are still signed and not rentals help. at the end of the day, the other teams already know the canucks season is done. even if danny was healthy, we were a long shot to make the playoffs anyway and every other GM knows that. |
Even if Daniel was healthy...its not like it would've made a difference LOL Sad that Henrik, Daniel and Burrows just kinda..............disappeared................ |
Yea like lol @ the cbc panel saying "oh with Daniel out they are missing 1A with hank being 1" Uhhh..ok 1 and 1a gettin fuckin 12 goals? Fuck off Posted via RS Mobile |
Interest in the team is the lowest it's been since the late 1990s. The Canucks brand is taking a huge hit. It's a pretty simple formula: - Trade whatever assets you can for draft picks - Hire some real scouts - Fire Torts - he's not the right coach for this group - Play the kids next year and hope that their enthusiasm will draw fans and interest in the team. Maybe sneak into the playoffs in 2015-16. Posted via RS Mobile |
hoping tickets get cheaper next season cause of this lol ^price prob increase actually  |

Something is clearly amiss when your star players just arent producing..Ive never seen the Sedins this ineffective and invisible. Theyre still successful with possession but theyre just not scoring. Same with Burrows. Look at their shooting percentages, its unreal. Some bad luck has to be factored in for sure, but it looks like the issue is systemic. |
i think don cherry has it right. they are overthinking the game and not reacting to the game. don showed a clip where burrows had the puck on the left on 2v1 with henrik. the correct play should have been to swing a pass to henrik right away then either drive the net and wait for the tip-in pass or get a rebound if hank shoots. instead he hesitates and skates himself into a situation where his pass will now be blocked and he's forced to take a tough angle shot. this is just one example of how the entire season has been for this line and PP. too much hesitation, too much thinking, too much predictability. |
Rangers are in the Playoffs. inb4 WE WANT GUM-CHEWING AV!! Speaking of hesitation, that Henrik hesitation on the backhand opportunity in the OT PP against Minnesota... Not sure what happened after that play, cause my face was being covered by my palm. |

So really, there is no 'correct' play, and these are the decisions that players have to make in a split second. When they make the wrong one, its easy to come back after the fact and say they are overthinking it. |
Were not making the playoffs.. Posted via RS Mobile |

if he was having seasons like 2010-2011 60GP 23G 25A 48PTS 2011-2012 76GP 29G 25A 54PTS than it would be more reasonable 6M a year for what has been 45GP 11G 14A 25PTS is David Clarkson status because "intangibles" and as much as I like Callahan, when he was injured this year NYR actually played way better without him.. EDIT: |
Canucks call up Archibald not Jensen which they need scoring means they are tanking for sure now..... Posted via RS Mobile |
or you know, they are leaving him down to develop properly. hes just started playing good again, after recovering from an injury. why bring him up and change what hes been doing for a couple games? Posted via RS Mobile |
