I'm still surprised how long this lease transfer process takes |

nah just on facebook or craigslist. for this lease takeover, i didnt even post it on fecesbook because im sick of dealing with the retards on there. Im sure i would have gotten even more hits if i posted it on facebook, but i got ton of interest already. Like i said, it sells itself. Just write something like my ad. https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rch...886926039.html |
Not even that subtle "I got too many cars I rich you poor bastard." |
Well its better than everyone else blatant lie about moving to another country. why you selling!? oh im moving to Urugay. yeah you are gay. |
"Selling because I am moving. Will consider trades for..." |
is the rear wing bolted onto factory points? always wondered about mods on a lease |
The wing is just double sided tapped on. Easily removed with a hair dryer. But the sucker has held on for over a year with no issues. Mods on a lease on matters if you are deciding to return it, AND the value of the buyout is more than the value of the market. So for example, my buyout is 24k at the end of my 3 year lease. If during that time, the value of a GTI w/ manual is only around 18 or 20k, then the dealership will likely nickel and dime me and tell me to restore the car back to original as a way to force me to buy out the lease as they dont want it. However, if the value of the buyout is lower than market, ie. the value of my GTI is in the 30's and the buyout is only 24, then all mods are fine. the dealership will pay you some $$$ (this is what you negotiate) and they want your car! they purchase the car at the buyout price, without having to pay the tax (not sure how they do this purchase without having to pay the tax, but they are able to do so) and then list it for a higher market value. I.e. list the GTI for 34k in 2026 and pocket almost 10k. This is what happened with my previous sportwagen. Buyout was like 18k, they gave me 4k, and sold the car for 24k. I didnt really have mods on it, but i did tint the back windows. Also i kept all the OEM parts so it can be restored to stock easily. |
I'm fascinated by Hobz putting mods on his lease. I thought I was a dumb fuck for putting an OEM rear wing on my Mazda 3 Turbo, silly to mod something one isn't planning to keep. Hobz is loaded though :) |
Keep in mind, 80% of the mods he did were from AliExpress, so there's not much to cry about when it comes to the sunk cost. :D |
yeah a whopping total of 60 dollars for the fucking wing. OEM color matched too!!! and the paint job was great on the wing... better than the paint job on the stupid hitlerbox. |
Whoa. Volvo Canada now has a $15,000 incentive on the EX90. |
Time to trade in your Highlander for one. :troll: |

volvo is like the microsoft of cars got good strategy and base product, rollout not so good ...and they never fix things |
The XC90 hasnt been redesigned in 10 years, yet still looks great. They gotta move on from that complex turbo and supercharged engine but who knows what their chinese overlord Geely is planning. |
