Finally have to abandon the Blackberry wagon and retire my Z30 for a S7 edge.

Going to miss a streamlined OS with real productivity.

And Im going to hate BB for making me suffer with shitty android.

Why won't it be unlocked?

They said only the black version will be available in Canada (for the pre-order at least). I couldn't wait as I wanted the bonus stuff but overall I'm not disappointed since you can't really go wrong with black.

if we reserve online, do we have to sign for a 2 year contract/renew or can we just buy the phone?

because samsung store doesn't sell them unlocked. they'll only sell you one outright for your carrier. i experienced this when i bought my S6 last year.

Gear goes for anywhere from $100 to $140. Once the pre-orders are fulfilled and everyone gets their VR then Craigslist/eBay will be completely filled with ads to sell it once people play with it for a few days.
