same. although, i am really tempted to go for the s7 edge because most of the people who have a note rarely ever use the s-pen..

without carrier it comes unlocked and with the 128gb

Some guy posted a video on YouTube. He was at best buy and saw the s7 on display.
The edge is only a slight edge. Not a big one like the note edge or s6 edge plus.

Man i'm still debating on renewing my plan early or just buy the phone from Samsung.

It would cost me at least $750 to renew... sigh

its still too small to play games on imo. ive got games on my nexus 6P which has the same size screen but i only play them when them when im out somewhere like waiting for my oil change at the dealer. i use a jailbroken ipad mini at home to play games on with my ps4 controller lol.

I thought the pre-orders are getting special treatment like what's happening down south, those who pre-ordered are getting it early so they have few days to play with their new toy in advance of the official launch. :(

im kinda holding out for note 6 as well. it better be waterproof or at least have something to make it stand out against s7 edge. its like useless pen or useless edge display, i was really hoping for a s7+ cause i dont need either but i want a phone i can put in an otterbox.

note 5 vs s6 edge+ was like exact same ram/processor/camera. why wait 6 months for that?

Yeah they have a S7 and S7 edge on display.

I wasn't quite use to playing with the side quick use bar. There are a lot of icons you can stick on there. But I feel I'd only put 5-10 of the most commonly used icons.

one grand buy out....if i had the spare cash for the latest tech,hell yeah.

Verizon pre-order has a choice of VR bundle or Gear S2 :( jelly... would prefer the watch than VR.

Since these days I keep my phone at least two years, no USB C or quick charge 3.0 really kills this phone for me. At this price it should have the latest everything.

usb-c isnt a big deal imo. its actually quite annoying to have right now considering not many devices use it. almost everyone will have a micro usb cable that you can use.

i think im going in today to place an order for the S7 edge.

I actually prefer no USB C port. I have so many micro usb cable. It also seems a lot of the USB C cable specs are not up to date or there is no standard to it. That's why a lot of USB C cable out there don't work with Nexus 5x or 6P.......

I understand that but by next year every new phone will have it, the kinks will be worked soon I'm sure.

kinda. theres a few things about it that are bugging me. for some reason in the truck with sync it only lets me stream audio, will not connect to make a call. i've used other phones, my previous s6, iphone 6, nexus 5 and all connect just fine. no OIS with the camera, it cant for whatever reason hold an LTE signal, always drops to HSPA but a restart does correct it. also the google sync issue but i think thats more of a google issue then with the phone itself.

theres that stuff and my own weird need to always have the latest mobile tech. i dunno what it is lol. i keep watching reviews etc and i drive myself nuts. :badpokerface:

I know what you mean I used to change phones pretty regularly but now with other life expenses in the way I just can't justify it. Plus back then the highest end phones were $650 no contract lol

Went to Samsung store today. Got to see the phone. Pretty nice. Good in the hands. Just wish the screen was a bit bigger like the s6 edge plus.
Think I'll wait a bit longer before upgrading.

there's a video posted of a "real life" speed test between the 6s and s7.. 6s is faster! but that's IOS for you I suppose

wonder how much faster the S7 will be with all the bloatware disabled..
