Use Samsung Smart Switch to send everything from your S3 to your S7.

Download it from the Google Play Store.

if you have an OTG cable, you can plug the phones together and use Samsung Smart switch to transfer everything over...\
Otherwise, back it up to your PC using the desktop version and transfer it back over to the new one..

OR if its only contacts, just backit up to Google and sync it to your new phone...

picked up s7 edge eat metro today. got black but they also have silver as they received stock today.

So to my understanding, all S7 will be carrier locked to the first sim and it will never be an unlocked phone? if so, thats total bs.

THe box came with one unlock code for if i switch carriers once in the future.

Bought mine at the Richmond Center location.. sales girl popped in a fido card.. i ported to koodo few days ago but was never ask to input the unlock code.. its running on koodo fine.. just has the fido app installed..

did you get an unlock code at all? mine came with a label sticker of the code on the box and was told to use it if i change carriers in the future..

I dont have another carrier sim to test it nor want to test it right now... hmm

yea I have it on my box.. had the box ready in front of my... turned off my phone, inserted koodo and turned on... loaded right into system... i was like.. wtf.. did a quick reboot and same thing.. so i said fuck it

Battery life on this phone is fucking amazing. This is with the regular S7.

they are... but they are required to insert a sim to have it locked and install carrier bloatware...

they also provide an unlock code...

Bought my s7 edge in Gold today from the Metro location. got $225 off with the phone trade in+mothers day deal. Samsung unlocked my phone when i bought it.

at store. They just give you the deal so you dont need to fill anything out. the phone trade in deal ends tomorrow

Been using the s7 for 3 days, phone still feels cheap compared to 6s plus.

Lots of games still lag on the phone which surprises me because its supposed to be the fastest.

What kind of cases are ya'll using for the S7 edge? Looking for something thin but still have some sort of protection..

I'm currently using the Spigen Tough Armour. Not too much bulk is added imo.

i'm got the spigen slim armour and the UAG case in the ash color. i personally love the UAG case more because of the rugged looks and it add's minimal bulk.
