where did you guys get screen protectors for the s7 edge from ?

Probably Ebay/Amazon is your best bet. I haven't seen any locally but perhaps one of the 11 phone accessory stores in Crystal Mall might have something. So far though from the reviews on XDA many of the tempered glass screen protectors either are narrow and doesn't cover the edges or they have full coverage but suffer from lifting and case fitment issues.

The phones are being released in the order they were received. Unfortunately for me my preorder date was more recent so they don't even have an estimation as to how long I'll have to wait. :okay:

Got mine from xtremeguard, which uses a wet application. Use EASTER90OFF for 90% off. It took less than 2 weeks to reach my house. I gotta say it was a pain in the ass to put on because of the edge.

Samsung really brought their A-game. The S7 lineup is the best I've seen in a long time. I actually happen to hate the Edge variant, as the curved screen makes typing uncomfortable, but the regular S7 is set to become my next phone. And the edge is pretty, just can't give up typing like that.

I bought a temporary $2 s7 edge screen protector from the Kiosk at metro.

After applying, all 4 edges started to bubble and is now starting to peel off. Hopefully Samsung gets their screen protectors in soon!

Tempered glass probably won't work well on the phone due to the slightly curved glass edges. either that or it'll be smaller and not cover the rounded parts.

i was reading somewhere all these protectors affects how the lights reflect, lights emitted by the screen and lights hitting the screen, and over the course of how many years i don't know would end up putting stress on your eye.

Anyways, i think given how the corning gorilla glass is supposed to be strong enough to resist scratches I for one don't have any protector on other than a spigen case.

has anyone with a Spigen case tried charging with the Qi Charger?

My buddy has the Spigen Neo Hybrid for his S7 and I can confirm that the wireless charging works.

They said this about Gorilla Glass 3 for the Nexus 5. Posters and reviewers online saying you're an idiot for using a protector, the Nexus 5 will never scratch.

After 6 months I already had several noticeable scratches on it, when it was carried in a dedicated pocket with nothing else and never dropped.

Just got my Samsung S& last night. May I know which wireless charger I should order ?

Lastly, do I need to turn on any settings to facilitate with the wireless charging ??

Please kindly advise ASAP.

Just about any qi charger will work, Amazon.ca has tons of them for sale. If you want fast wireless charging then you will have to buy the Samsung one. No you dont have to change any settings to use wireless charging, just place it on the charger.

what are people using for a screen protector?
Currently using the Spigen Curved Crystal and it's working fine

debating on whether I should eventually move onto a tempered glass screen protector when eventually a "proven" one is released

Currently using this one with my S5 with the wireless charging back. Is pretty good. Charge pretty quick and allows the phone to sit up so I can see if there are message more easily.
