Went to RC today and the Samsung employees' don't have a concrete date for the coloured s7 edges. So weird, the rest of the world had theirs released with the black, why are we an exception? Aberdeen has the dual sims for sale, $1000. :okay:

wish I waited a little longer to redo our contract with Rogers. the S7 is now $0 after all the trade in credits and bill credits.

Got my wife an S6 like 3 weeks ago when they went cheaper in anticipation of the S7 coming out. Still had to pay $150 for 64gb. Could've gotten the S7 instead for free. :okay:

either way I had to switch to a share everything plan so this would've been better...

I just read somewhere Samsung is coming out with S7 Active that is actually shock resistant and waterproof...grr... :(

Isn't it the same IP68? I figured a case like otterbox or something along the same lines would offer shockproof. But I'd rather have the feel of metal and glass.

It will most likely be an AT&T exclusive only unfortunately as it has been last year.

Just my second day using the S7 edge and I have to say the battery is a beast. Currently at 6h 5 min screen on time with 10% battery left.

djstyles, did you get your silver s7 edge? Which Samsung store did you order from? I ordered mine from Richmond Center and have not received a call.

I've been keeping tabs with the Samsung Store, seems it has been delayed or we've been misinformed. The word is that it won't be out till month end or early April.

That's what I've been told as well, but from djstyles posts;
-pre-ordering a silver s7 edge,
-being told that the 22nd is release date and
-having the phone for 2 days, it sounds like he received his phone!

When I pre-ordered mine I was told by a Samsung employee that it would be avaliable on the 22nd of March, however when I went to the store on the 22nd the same employee told me "sometime next week, I dont have an ETA". I ended up just getting the black S7 edge, which I am quite happy with as it really blends in with the edge screen and makes it look almost bezel less.

Snapdragon has the better GPU and single core performance, but you probably won't notice. Exynos has the better battery life.
