Found this on RFD. Samsung will unlock your S7/Edge, if you contact them: 1. Go to Samsung Canada website > Contact Us (Contact Us | Samsung CA) 2. Start Live Chat 3. Tell the rep that you would like to unlock your Galaxy S7 4. Rep will ask a few questions including your IMEI number and the carrier your S7 is currently locked to. 5. Within a few days, you will receive an email from Samsung with the unlock code. 6. Dial #7465625*638*# from your phone and enter the unlock code 7. Done! I submitted a couple Telus S7's, and they said the unlock code would be emailed in 2-3 days. |

My S7 edge arrived. 2 days from ordering through Rogers. Pretty nice phone. Just have to remember to insert an appropriate Sim first otherwise it'll erase all your hard work. I was still using my note 5 while I was setting up the edge. Plugged in my Sim and poof. It erased everything. Good thing I used smart switch to backup. |
I recommend getting a CASE asap... Samsung devices are prone to getting scratched easily.. got a few minor scratches... |

Yup, got a few light scratches on my screen already. What screen protector is everyone using? I got the Hi-Def one from xtremeguard.com and it's shit. Edges do not stick to the screen at all, because of the slight slope. |
I'm only using a case. No screen protector. I'm more lax since it's a work phone. However none of my work S6 edge, note 5, and s7 edge had screen protectors and they're still in great shape. Only very minute scratches that you can only see under bright light under certain angles. |
By no means are the scratches on the screen interfering with the phone, but I'm the type of guy to obsess over the imperfections. :badpokerface: |

I've been trying to update my edge software, but when I click on the update. Nothing happens. Also, when I click the edge panel and try to download more panels also nothing happens. Anyone have any solutions? |
