This might be a silly question but, a friend purchased a case for my new phone for me and she got the s7 edge instead of the regular s7. Does anyone know if it will still work for my phone, or should I get her to order the other one instead? If they're the same size it shouldn't matter right?

The 7 edge is larger than the 7. Get her to order the other one instead.

Been really careful with my S7 Edge and the screen still scratched (I guess it's because Gorilla Glass 4 is more shatter-resistant and scratch resistant?)..

Does anyone have any recommendations for screen protectors (regular or tempered glass).

the best buy one comes with life time warranty. you can have it replaced if it starts to bubble.

There is a cell accesory store in Metrotown near Sport check that has PET films and tempered glass protectors for the S7 Edge. The only thing is that if you have a case that isnt a thin fit Spigen or a Ringke Slim the case will lift the glass up.

My Note 4 suddenly started to freeze, reboot and become unresponsive. Even after hard reset still issues, leading me to believe it may be hardware related. Wanted to wait til Note 6/7 comes out before upgrading, ended up getting S7 Edge in the meantime til next Note series comes out.

Having issues getting used to because I've be using big phones for a few years now. It's differently snappy quick and the camera is amazing.

How many of you guys do the fast charging? Huge difference in charge times for quick versus regular charge. I had my phone down to 10% and 1hr 30mins for quick charge and 5+ hours for regular charge (as per the battery status)...

Anyone know where I can get a screen protector for the S7 edge?

I ordered one some off a site that had a promo before the phone was released but I never got it.

I went to night market and no one has any for S7 edge. The only one I found was not compatible with my spigen case

I'm super desperate for a new phone. My Alcatel Idol 2 from exactly last year has just started to fail on me. Contemplating if I should shell out big bucks for the S7 Edge or go for the OnePlus Three.... Or is there something else worth getting that i'm not aware of?

Comes down to personal preferences. The edge adds a few unique features but most edge owners I talked to said they're not that useful. The edge makes it way more breakable when you drop it and for an extra 100 bucks, I'd put it down to personal preference.
