Gotta admit it, baerstchi turning out pretty good for a second rounder.

If we get lucky and avoid injuries, I feel Canucks are going to make playoffs or at least be close to it. Keep in mind we were basically playing without suter and edler last season.

I remember when Baertschi was in Abbotsford. He was an exciting player to watch, so when we got him in a Canucks jersey I was hopeful that he would show well. He's a bit of a project, but he has a ton of upside. Good to see him having some success out there.


Regardless, The Hockey News, USA Today sports, and EA's NHL 17 still have the Canucks finishing last in the league.
